Newly refurbished stone cottage. Two cosy bedrooms with ensuite italian shower rooms. Open plan living area with new kitchen and modern appliances. Wood burning stove, sofa bed and dining area. Large deck area in private garden for alfresco dining and outdoor seating with attractive iron awning which provides ample shade. Secure gate leading to the 10 x 5 salt water pool with lounge beds, dining area and pool room with kitchen and plancher. Table tennis and boules area.
Very quiet area set in woodland in a lovely village with a boulangerie and restaurant. The Gite is 100 metres away from a fishing/swimming lake with summer bar/restaurant famous for it's Moules and Frites Friday evenings.
Two market villages are 10 minutes away, with larger supermarkets, chemists and many other restaurants.
Very good area to start your search of the many Bastide towns and historical sites.

Summary: From arriving to leaving we had wall to sunshine. The pool was brilliant for cooling off. Barry and Michelle were very helpful, friendly, nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was just as described very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Petit Pattaris. Its a lovely Gite with a beautiful pool. Michele and Barrie are great hosts too. Its a great location to explore the Dordogne and Lot Valley.

Summary: We had a fantastic fortnight in Frayssinet le Gelat. The gite is small but really nicely done and has a lovely, spacious garden and a great pool. Our two boys (5 and 9) had the best time playing in it. The gite has everything you need for a really relaxing holiday. Michele and Barrie are so friendly and helpful. The area is great, you can walk down to the boulongerie and the restaurant at the lac (5 mins walk) is really good. We had a fantastic time and would love to return.

Summary: We both loved our stay in this gite in the beautiful French countryside. Barry and Michelle could not have been more helpful, or more respectful of our privacy; they were perfect hosts, always there when we needed them and happy to give recommendations for sites/restaurants in the local area. The gite is just lovely. Every need is catered for and the rooms stay lovely and cool even on the very hottest sunny days. The pool also give great respite from the summer sun and Barry takes great care to make sure it is always in tip-top condition. Trout the dog and Tick-tack and Black Pudding the cats were the icing on the cake... they are there if you want to play, but absent if you don't. Totally charming...We would not hesitate to come back to this gite, and we've talked about nothing else since our return just a week ago. Here's hoping that this isn't the last we've seen of Barry and Michelle, too. Thank you to them both for making our visit such a pleasure.

Summary: My family and I were so looking forward to our stay at the property but due to a family bereavement we were unable to travel, however I will say that all contact with the owners was prompt and friendly and could not have been better. We certainly will be trying to book the property in the future.

Summary: Michele and Barry couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming to their wonderful gite. It was the perfect stay. The pool area is fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped. The local area is beautiful and there was plenty to do and see. We would love to return!
