Positive: new place, basic room but comfortable... nice shower.

Negative: impossible to sleep! Host let 7 teenagers in at 12:30am... banging doors, stamping feet, shouting, laughing until 3am... when I got up to tell them to be quiet. At 330am the host let 3 of them out for 30 minutes... noisy roller shutters door. There's no soundproofing... you hear everything... the sliding doors to the balcony don't seal or close properly. At 4am all the Cockerells start... there must be 7 or 8 of them close by. As is this wasn't bad enough... in the morning the host said "sorry for the noise... i hope you don't leave a bad review" I wasn't going to until they reported my booking as a "no show"... lying to booking.com, attempting to ensure I couldn't leave a review. Despicable behaviour!

Positive: This was the ultimate Homestay experience. Each day, I passed through the family’s living room to reach my room upstairs, giving me a glimpse into their daily life and family dynamics, including their two lovely little boys. That alone held great value for me. The hosts were extremely kind, suggesting and helping me arrange a very inexpensive limousine ride from Dong Hoi to Hue. The lady even ran out to the car with me, holding an umbrella over me in the rain.rain. The room was comfortable, the bed very comfy.

Negative: The location was slightly far for easily going to the beach without carrying valuables.

Positive: Very clean and new property. The owners were very nice and helpful. Also a kitchenette upstairs. Rooms were spacious enough.

Negative: Not much to do round the area unless you hire mopeds which we did and was fine.
