Positive: Location was excellent. The breakfast was not in a location suitable for us, so we didn't even get to enjoy it unfortunately.
Negative: There were 4 flights of pretty steep stairs to get to the room. The front door to the property was supposed to automatically shut but was open most of the time when we returned because it didn't catch properly. I still felt safe though even with this issue. Also, someone was smoking in the stairwells and there was cigarette butts left on the stairs, but for the most part clean.
Summary: Overall a great location, just a lot of stairs if you have bad knees...lol

Positive: Their email states "(Breakfast is served in the Italian room) ". What it fails to mention is that the Italian Room is not on site. It's about a 15 minute walk to breakfast. It's not very convenient if you've scheduled tours. The room was adequate, I wouldn't call it luxury - a comfortable bed and bathroom.

Positive: The staff, Hendrix was excellent and could not do more to help us. The location cannot be beaten and the family took us back to station, after being ripped off coming, which was appreciated enormously.
Negative: We only got glasses and cups for adults- when we had 2 children, we found some in the helpful kitchen area- but the kids are just as important as the grown up customers. We had some minor issues with the flush in the loo. I would say the TVs are a waste of money as they aren’t smart so no option for anything but Italian TV. We have stayed in other Italian places that have smart tvs so we can use it own Netflix etc, this is a missed opportunity.
Summary: Superb location, lots of steps, great staff.
