2 Bedroom Apartment in Collioure

Flora appartement is a part of our old Fishermans cottage with its 3 appartement that we are renting out when not there ourselves
The appartement is in two floors.
When entering the house with its double doors you are in the kitchen with its yellow and white tails that gives you the color of summer.
If pulling the double doors ( a bit like shutters)to each side the sun will enter, and you are almost outside. This is in a lovely corner where it is nice to sit for your morning coffee with your newspaper, and maybe a croissant - Or you stroll down for a petit déjeuner!
In the kitchen area there is a click clack bed nice for your siesta .
Opposite the kitchen, there is a sliding door to the bathroom which is equipped with a shower, sink, and a toilet.
Beside the kitchen there is a spiral staircase ( which is not recommended for small children). Walking down this stair you will find a mezzanine with a walk in closet , and a cupboard.
Downstairs you enter a spacious, cool and chilled sleeping room with a new big bed from IKEA 180 x 200 cm.
There is also a small electric toilet and an entrance door which also is an exit door to the street behind the house.
Above the mentioned, entrance exit door there is installed an WMC that makes a bit noise, but can be switched off easily , just please turn it on when you leave the house during daytime.The switch is behind the yellow curtain . Very easy to find.
It is an ideal apartment for a couple who enjoy cooking, relaxing and reading
Since you can unfold the entrance door ,you can be in and out in the same time ;)
We do not recommend this apartment for small children because of the spiral staircase.
There is only two minutes walk to the beach, restaurants, boulangerie, possibility for playing pétanque , and small grocery shop with a lot of fresh and lokal fruit ,like cerise and apricots.
The area is very popular, with a tranquil and historic atmosphere. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Watering the flowers and the lemon tree outside in the kitchen corner is always welcome.

Summary: Great place for the town and beach, everything is close. Loads of alleys and walks around the main shopping and restaurants area. We will return to Collioure.

Summary: Great location and cute quaint property with a beautiful local charm! issue with wifi connection downstairs and the floors where a bit dusty. Also soap wasnt refilled in main bathroon and no shower soap or shampoo available which would have been good

Summary: Very nice and comfortable old town apartment on two levels with wonderful landlords. Only a couple of blocks from the beach and lots of great restaurants and walking opportunities.

Summary: We had a great stay in Collioure in this flat. The flat was nice and in a perfekt location in the quiet part of Collioure's old town. We just needed a one minute walk to get to the sea. The check-in with Our hosts was perfetly easy and we always got a quick answer if we had any questions. We had a great time in Collioure and in the surrounding countryside with great walks.

Summary: We had a good time in Collioure, which is a nice small city with a lot of ,day tourists‘ in august. The evenings there are less people and the atmosphere ist more relaxed. Therefore the apartment of Toné and Henrik is situated really good and calm in an old city center - next city beach only 2 minutes to go. The apartment has everything you need, is functional and has a nice charm with some patina. Most important: the great hosts Toné and Henrik. They are so heartwarming and nice, always open for a little chat and they have the best tips to discover Collioure and the environment. Thx for all!

Summary: Placed among the locals in Faubourg (old city of Collioure) in the calm area but still close to baker, and grocery and Collioure. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the terrace as well as the rest of the city, the local markets and very nice restaurants - so we will love to visit again and stay at the same place

Summary: Our stay was unsatisfactory. First a serious dampness problem in the bedroom downstairs: paint falling off main high wall, and a bad musty smell - not sorted by the dehumidifier. Then we discovered the downstairs exit - a door with a gate which is welded shut from the bedroom to a laneway. So if there was a fire upstairs in the kitchen blocking access by the long spiral staircase there would be no escape. It’s a potential death trap. We wrote directly to VBRO and the owner about the above, with photos. Electric light cables hang from the high walls while others are laid along the bedroom floor. The bed is a makeshift sofa bed. We had to move upstairs altogether to a pull-out couch off the kitchen. If the serious health and safety issues were resolved this would be a really attractive place. It has lots of charm. It’s in a beautiful, quaint area, close to the beach and all the joys of Collioure.
