Summary: Place was spacious. The living area appears smaller in pics than reality. Plenty of room to hang out play games/eat or watch tv. Great location our truck never left the house except to drive to the ski slopes. Clean with plenty of extra linens.

Summary: The property was as advertised. Very clean, lot of amenities and planned for a family vacation. We have two small kids, and there were games and a slide (!) in the house, and a nice playground outside (although we couldn’t use it that much because of snow). Mara was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Overall very relaxing trip with no surprises, and as expected.

Summary: The house was great. Very close to the water and easy walk to all the shopping ans restaurants. The house has great fire pit and porch in the back and kids play scape in the front yard. We had a great and intend to stay here again in the future!

Summary: The owner was extremely helpful recommending things to do during our visit. Lock was not working properly so she immediately gave us a solution. House was not the most updated but the kitchen had been remodeled and everything was sufficient for our stay. There were plenty of pots, serving bowls etc. Proximity to town was awesome as we could walk and didn’t need to worry about finding downtown parking. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Summary: We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation at the Hillcrest House. It was the best location - short walking distance to downtown Lake Placid with easy access to shops, restaurants, breweries, ice cream places, the Olympic Center and the public beach. The property offered a great porch and yard for the little ones to run around!

Summary: Absolutely loved the upgraded kitchen and the living area worked well for our group of 8. Easy walking distance to town made it more attractive to book this property. We'd definitely stay here again. :)
