Positive: The apartment was good, the entire complex is very, very nice. The panoramic view from our terrace was quite superb! The Malaga airport is very close, one hour drive, but also Tarifa and Gibraltar is close enough.
Negative: Unfortunately, there were several problems. 3 not minor problems. 1. The hotel notified us ONLY on the day of our travel, that during our 4-day stay, the last 2 days, the entire complex will be closed, so we cannot use the big pool area, there will also be the bar, the restaurant, and the market will be closed. It would have been polite if they had notified us when making the reservation. 2. We booked for four people, two adults, two children, but they considered the 10 and 12-year-old kids adults. OK. However, there was only one bed made for the two of us, and there were no sheets for the kids. We arrived late in the evening; we did not have the energy to go back to the reception (there are long distances between apartments), so we somehow managed to make one bed from two small couches. But this is not OK. And our biggest complaint is that they did not respond to our calls and messages on the day of arrival, despite claiming a 24/7 front desk. Due to the flight delay and the more than an hour we spent waiting at the car rental, we would like to know if we can check in 2 hours later than our original check-in time. But for 3 hours, nobody responded to us. We called booking.com, I was on the line for 22 minutes, but they could not reach the hotel as well. Not even after that, no message, not even an apology. I have been using booking.com for 14 years, and I have never had this kind of experience where the host or hotel does not respond within 2-3 hours or ever. Very sorry.
Summary: The apartment was good, the entire complex is very, very nice. The panoramic view from our terrace.

Positive: Great apartment, super views over the ocean, 2 pools in pretty flowered spacious grounds, plenty of sunbeds, grass & shade. On site secure parking, supermarket, laundrette- very comfy bed, clean - staff super friendly and welcoming. The design of whole Resort is pretty & individual unique blocks so it felt private and quite even in summer.
Negative: Resort not walkable to local restaurants, shops or beach - definitely need a car. I had mine so no issue for me, but if you want to explore local area then a car handy. They do have a quick & efficient taxi service from reception.

Positive: The resort was beautiful. As it was winter the facilities weren't open, but it was good to get to know the area, there are some beautiful restaurants around and it was good to be able to rely on the facilities provided in the room. Be aware when coming in the winter that even though it says restaurant open on the app, that it may not be. If you do come in winter time like we did, bring layers for the evening as there is no heating, just aircon. We spent a week in the resort and enjoyed every moment, we are hoping to come back next year in the summer time. The room was clean and comfy. It was great for value and I would recommend it to anyone.

Negative: I didn’t like the distance from the port. Wished there was a shuttle bus to take you down to the beach or near the port. Shame really. You really need a car for this property.

Positive: Beautiful complex , our apartment was spacious , 3 bedrooms. Air on was spot on. Next to pool and football court.
Negative: Key cards didn’t work at times but no big issue.
