Large property which comprise two recent villas, independent with each one its swimming pool. The first offers 4 beautiful bedrooms and comprises one floor, it is called “the Almond trees”. The second comprises 4 bedrooms on the same floor and is called “the Cherry trees”. To rent as a whole up to 16 people or each one separately to 8 people. The two villas are separated by a wall, a shelter and vegetation which offers all the necessary intimacy. Ideally located between Gorge de l'Ardeche and valley of Cèze, very calm, pretty sight on hill and fruittrees. Beautiful walks, excursions and ballades with bicycle. Villa full comfort, decoration looked after, large terrace of 30m2, recent construction. With its great stay, its four bedrooms which open all on the swimming pool and nature and its two bathrooms, each one offers all comfort for eight people (or 16 for both villas). To spend the vacancies active or resting, to visit typical small villages or considered historic sites or simply to benefit from the gastronomy and local wines. In season, the life is organized around the traditional swimming pool of 5x10m with Romance staircase: practical for adults and small children. The person in charge takes great care of the property and will be there to welcome you and when you will leave. You will appreciate the state of cleanliness of the house and the swimming pool.

Summary: Time did fly as we were able to both relax around the house with the inviting pool as well as explore the many attractions which are in reach within a 30 minutes car drive distance. The house was very well equipped, we felt home immediately. Internet stabilized over time, cable TV remained a challenge - but was not of major importance to us. Reasonable supermarkets you really have to search for but are also within a 15 min car drive distance. The same is also true for a swim in the refreshing Ardeche river - which is very nice. The local administrators of the realty were easygoing while being professional at all times.

Summary: Location was tranquil and ideal for us, close enough to most attractions but away from the tourist dense towns. The big swimming pool is the main feature of the villa, it was amazing and lights up at night under the star filled sky. We stayed in the Cherry villa, a single story that wraps around the pool creating a very secluded experience. This is next to the the 2 story Almond villa in the main picture but both villas are the same size overall. Both properties have small orchards and are walled and gated on the street sides with parking for 2 to 3 cars. Interior of the villa is simple and traditional looking but very clean and modern. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. As a whole the Villa felt very spacious for the 5 of us. Nearest shops and excellent restaurants are a 5km drive or 15km for a big supermarket, the village is on a main route and roads are excellent. A bakers van passes daily and does amazing almond crossiants and bread. Being in a small village in the countryside, the nights skies are amazing, we saw the milkyway and lots of meteors. The owner provided lots of local information, and Helene the villa manager was very helpful by accomodating our very late arrival time. In short we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.
