Positive: It's hard to tell what you are going to get when you look at what a property shows of themselves online. This place was better than what we expected. It has a lot of character, the staff were friendly, it was very clean, there was a fully stocked kitchen down the hall from our room. The grounds around the property are full of beautiful old pine trees, and little cabins where people stay for the summer. We loved it.

Negative: I think they must remove the weeds from the water around the beach area. Once you get out deep enough to swim it is very weedy. I appreciate their efforts to create an area where we can go on the water, but after that it was too weedy for me.

Positive: The ambience, character, staff and our hosts were amazing! We loved our whole stay, have recommended it to family and friends and plan to return. The food was delicious. It would be worth visiting for the dessert table alone!

Positive: it is in a remote location, quite and many trees around it. the building is full of history and character, sort of stepping back of time kind of experience

Negative: it’s right beside a camping ground, that property is very messy looking and there is no reception due to lack of customers I guess

Positive: Jodi the hostess was amazing! She even gave us her cell # to call at anytime. Breakfast was delicious and fast and a full breakfast included with homemade bread and homemade raspberry jam! Rooms were quaint and rustic - timeless!!
