Escape to our gorgeous self-contained suite located on our five-acre forested property South of Bragg Creek. The suite is detached from the main house and completely private. Suitable for a romantic get away, a family looking to get the kids outside, or a professional looking for a beautiful place to work.. Our friendly dogs are on the property. The suite has 12-foot vaulted ceilings and large windows. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a tall boy dresser. There is a pull-out sofa with an upgraded mattress in the living room. Kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen includes a new gas range with grill, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee makers, utensils, dishes and cooking pots that you will need. There is a propane barbeque available on the deck. There is also washing machine and clothes dryer included in the suite. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub (not shared, located in the yard of the main house) with an unbelievable view of the dark night starry sky away from the city lights. Outdoor deck at the back of the suite. The deck backs onto undeveloped forest for as far as you can see. Very private and perfect for enjoying the wildlife corridor located behind the suite. Starlink Internet. Enjoy the large smart TV with satellite programming including movie and sports channels or plug into the sound bar to enjoy the music of your choice.

We are a 10-minute drive to Bragg Creek and 15 minutes to Kananaskis Country – the playground at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. In the nearby Hamlet of Bragg Creek, you will find a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, a playground for children, an outdoor skating rink, and various artisan shops. Historic Banff National Park and Canmore are one hour drive away. Minutes away there are endless opportunities for hiking, cycling (mountain or road), golfing, x-country skiing, horseback riding and other mountain activities (kayaking, fishing etc.). The network of roads right out our driveway (Hwy 762 and others) are a cyclist or motorcyclist bucket list tour. Guidebooks are available in the suite.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the suite. Communication was excellent with the owner. And the pictures are very accurate to what you get. We did have one issue. The suite description was written up. I believe during the pandemic. It advertises the suite as a place that you can work because of the high speed Internet. It’s quoted at 250 MB per second. We had issues with our Internet and at best had 10 to 12 MB per second. One day it was down to 1 MB per second. Secondly, is our cell only got a signal in certain areas of the suite. Normally when I’m on vacation I don’t have anything to do with work. However, one of the reasons we booked this was that in this case I had to do a little bit. As well as we had some family issues going on that required me to stay in contact. the Internet speed and the occasional drop call was an inconvenience. If this is an issue to you keep that in mind. Again, normally this would not be an issue for me because when I’m on holidays, I want to disconnect as much as possible. The owner has said that she will update the data speeds on the listing. My issue was that it was stated as a office in the mountains and that it is not that. Otherwise communication was excellent. Note there are three other dogs on the property. We had our dog there and it wasn’t an issue. However, it’s something you may want to know..

Summary: We had such a wonderful time. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Denise and felt right at home—the suite was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the nearby trails, peaceful mornings on the porch, soaking in the hot tub, and evening walks down the road by the wildlife corridor, surrounded everywhere by quiet beauty (and singing birds). Our dog loved playing in the huge yard with their dogs. He didn’t want to leave and neither did we. Thank you, Denise, we hope to come back again!

Summary: Set away from the highway with a tree covered view to rear. Secluded rear decking area with some afternoon sun. The one bedroom unit has a spacious, well equipped kitchen with all amenities / utilities you need for a self catering stay. Our hosts were very friendly and helped us settle in to make it feel like a home from home. We really enjoyed our relaxed brief stay. There's not much going on at the unit but is excellently located for riding out of Mouse Mountain Ranch about a mile away. Bragg Creek is a 15 minute drive where there is a food store, general store, pharmacy, liquor store, gas station. It's also a handy location for accessing the trails from West Bragg Creek. Our hosts provided local guide books and maps of the area to help explore.

Summary: We had a lovely, quiet and peaceful stay. The Loft was beautiful and super clean with everything you could possibly want. Hot tub, comfy bed, gas stove, large fridge, wifi, satellite TV and deer to watch from the back deck. Lots of interesting things to see and do in the area, although once you are checked in, you really don't feel like leaving. A+++++ host!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay away from it all in surrounded by nature. Close enough from Bragg Creek to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the spacious loft and relaxing in the hot tub. No complaints.

Summary: Just an overall nice place to be. Quiet, solitude and very nicely done loft. Had all we could ask for. Access to the hot tub was great, also nice and private. If the hosts were there we sure didn’t know it!

Summary: Shortly before we arrived, I was diagnosed with cancer. My family and I decided to make the trip from Manitoba anyways and continue my chemo while we were there. I was apprehensive about renting a private property as I had heard too many horror stories, but this place and these hosts were amazing! My parents, my dog and myself had the most stress-free booking, check-in and stay that I’ve ever had in my life. The cleanliness was top notch, even for an immunosuppressed chemo patient. The property was beautiful and lovingly maintained. The unit itself had every single amenity you could possibly need. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. It was an amazing place to slow down and just relax. Sipping coffee on the deck in each morning with deer walking by was heaven, as was watching the stars at night. In addition, Bragg Creek is close by and is a charming little place with good restaurants and shops and a laid-back atmosphere. The only feedback I’d provide is that an air conditioning unit would be welcome instead of a fan as the very hot days (like the days we were there) make it just too hot to stay inside, even at night. However, that was a minor inconvenience that will not prevent us from returning again. It’s something we are very much looking forward to!
