Summary: Overall a nice place. The view of the lake is wonderful. The condition of the house didn't really warrant the high price, but I guess it's all about location. We didn't pay the extra $25 for linens, so I had to bring sheets and towels for my group, which was a bit of a pain, but I chose to do that rather than pay $25 per person. Finding the dock that goes to the house took a few minutes, but wasn't that hard. I don't know if I didn't read close enough or if it wasn't spelled out clearly, but I thought the house was actually on the water, which it's not. But it wasn't far. Not much in the way of kitchenware, but we ate out so it was fine. Overall a nice place. Beds were comfortable, which is a huge plus! There was a big storm and the power went out while we were there and so we were messaging with the owner several times, and he was very responsive and helpful. Another huge plus.

Summary: It's a cool cabin in the woods. We enjoyed going to the racetrack and exploring Saratoga Springs. Tinney's Tavern is a short drive away for a drink and meal. Highly recommend.

Summary: We had a wonderfull time at pine tree lodge. Its been the first time we were travelling the USA. We had visited New York City and drove upstate New York afterwards. What a contrast. We loved the lodge and enjoyed the lake as well as the beautiful landscape. We appreciated the possibillity to use the kayak, to BBQ and to relaxe. There was so much more to discover. We definitley would love to come back.

Summary: Quaint and Quiet, we had 6 total people and it worked for us. Understand you are in the woods. Wi-Fi was perfect for the bunch. Sunsets are breathtaking. Recommend a truck or SUV to travel there. Not far from great things to do. Would definitely visit again!

Summary: The cabin is a cozy A frame and looks as presented. A couple issues I experienced were: None of the ceiling fans or ceiling lights worked. There are three, and none of them worked. It was cold in the area and got down into the low 50s with rain and the place was damp becuse of it, but the gas fireplace was disconnected and we were told in brochure not to use the wood stove inside in June. So our stuff got damp from humidity and chilly at night. The lake is basically inaccessible foe anyone with mobility issues. So never got to see the lake or shore or dock. Coming in at night is difficult sue to the darkness and no GPS, so we struggled to find the place after our event Saturday night. We couldn't check in until 4;)) opm and had to leave by 10:00 am. 11:00 am would have been a great help mostly because we had to CLEAN the place. Vacuum, mop, dust, everything. There was a huge dust web in the basement which, by the way, is downstairs, so why am I dusting that? The king bed upstairs was pretty comfortable. But if you have to go to the bathroom at night, you have to go down one windy, thin, metal, cold if its dame and 50* out, stairway then another to get to he bathroom. Had the weather been nicer maybe we could've enjoyed an out door fire but idek where to get wood. Prob wood for purchase somewhere. Lots of instructions and for the price, the amount of work we were expected to do (wipe out fridge?? Really?) a later check out time would have been great. Host ws nice though.
