Negative: The house generally just needs a good deep clean and is let down by this. Dust and cobwebs everywhere, floors firstly in corners behind sinks etc just felt like it wasn’t cared for.

Positive: The property is such a wonderful old building with so much character and charm. It is the owners property that has been separated out. I stopped here the night before my wedding with my mum and then again with my new husband the following two nights. It was perfect for my bridesmaids to join me in getting ready the morning of and had some lovely pictures in the garden. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and we had a lovely stay.

Positive: There was so much to love about this property! It was elegant, spacious, warm, cosy, and had a lovely well appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were amazing, and each had their own ensuite which was handy. The shower and claw foot bath off the large bedroom was luxe! The view of the backyard was so charming. Would definitely stay again!

Negative: Can’t think of a thing not to like.

Positive: Superb Tudor building, well maintained, reconstructed and modernised. Very large rooms, excellent kitchen, well maintained garden with seating. We loved that part of the grounds were given over to a charity to use for “sheep in Retirement”

Negative: Nothing really but worth noting that being an old property it has smaller windows and is not as light and airy as more recent constructions.
