Summary: My family & I decided to take a last-minute spring break trip & booked this SUPER CUTE cabin just 3 days before our arrival in mid-March 2023. When we drove up to the property we were immediately impressed with this A Frame cabin! It had everything we needed for our 4 day stay in Ruidoso! Before our trip I made sure to watch the weather & the forecast called for snow, but the forecast changed a few times before our actual check-in date. The first night we got a few snow flurries that continued our second day, then the snow came in pretty heavy throughout the night that second night & we woke up to about 3-5" of BEAUTIFUL snow! The cabin was especially charming with all of the snow! This property is in a neighborhood, but the neighboring cabins weren't close so it made us feel pretty secluded which is what I wanted! The wifi was great for the kids to play on their PS5 we brought, the cell service was strong so you don't have to worry about not having service. Be careful of the steep driveway if you're not used to mountainous terrain & there can only fit 2 cars so back in if you can, I was able to! The front deck has a wonderful view of Sierra Blana Peak that will take your breath away! The back deck was great, but unfortunately becasue of the snow we didn't really get to enjoy cooking, eating or sitting out there. There is a snow shovel, but we just didn't take the time to shovel the back deck. One morning we did hear some elk nearby, but unfortunately, they didn't come say hi to us. This property is a quiet & quaint little gem that is close to everything in Ruidoso & it's just a short BEAUTIFUL drive to Cloudcroft if you take HWY 70 to NMSR 244 through the Mescalero Reservation! That route is truly one of the most beautiful drives I've taken! You won't be disappointed staying at this Cozy Little Cabin!!

Summary: Its location is perfect on top of the hills and calm no traffic or noise. It has everything is like arriving at our own house! Price perfect for location and cleanliness. Will definitely come back!!!

Summary: We had a wonderful,restful family getaway. The property was clean and beautiful. The views and stargazing was amazing! The wildlife is beautiful and out was great to feed the deer. We Will defenetly stay there again. Our only concern was the back deck that move from side to side when we where on it. We really didn't use that part of the house. Other than that the house is pretty well equipped with the necessities you will need for your stay. Beautiful and peaceful area! Staff was very friendly. The directions where very clear about everything except the trash. But other than that we were very happy work the friendlyness of the staff.

Summary: Now that I know 1st hand how nice cabin is and what type of service. I will tell everyone I know Pinion hideaway is the way to go Great service working within the COVID guidelines. The cabin was great. My grandchildren had a blast. I had booked with another cabin rental agency and was very dissatisfied with their policies and customer service but Cozy Cabins was nothing like them. Thank you.
