Located on the gold coast of Bainbridge Island, Pleasant Beach. Relax in the claw-foot tub or read a book on the covered porch. Enjoy quality high thread count cotton sheets, along with robes & towels. Stroll the beach for agates, sand dollars, shells, bald eagles, herons, otters and seals. Stretch out a beach towel and enjoy the warm sunshine and waves lapping against the shoreline. Great biking and hiking directly out the front door. An easy walk to your morning latte and bakery, restaurants, Walt's neighborhood market, The Historic Lynwood Theater, along with the new Pleasant Beach Village stores & restaurants. We are located on a bus route, a short 10 minute drive from town. Sorry no smoking. Check with us if you have a dog you’d like to bring. Rates are $150-$250/night plus Cleaning Fee of $60 & Tax.

Summary: Lovely stay at this cottage. We enjoyed short walk to Lynwood center for breakfast, and longer walk to Fort Ward. Picturesque view of water with lots of birds and water fowl.The main drawback was the loud road noise when a car drove by. The cottage is close to the road and the noise was loud enough to wake me up.

Summary: This cottage was perfect in every way. Nearby a little shopping area but totally private. Huge rear yard area which was perfect for our little dog to run about but not near the road. Everything inside was top notch (bed, sofa, dining table, kitchen) and lots of nice little touches. I hope we can return some day...when the weather is nice :)

Summary: 10/10 stay and experience! From the moment we walked in to when we left, it could not have been a more pleasant stay -- very clean, comfortable and has everything you might want. The views from the home are breathtaking and you can easily walk to get food / coffee in town! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you Diane for such a special getaway weekend!

Summary: We had a lovely time in this cute, old-style, rustic cottage. The bed and overall decor were comfortable and cozy and the view magnificent. Maybe the only negative for us was that the cottage is right on the road and it was a bit noisy during morning and afternoon commute hours. But all in all we had a good stay.

Summary: Our stay at the smaller of the two Pleasant Beach Cottages provided a really fun contrast to our own VRBO cabin in Montana! Salish Sea v. Clark Fork River, a "Sweep-out Cottage" v. Log Cabin, a very short walk to good restaurants and groceries v. driving to get almost anywhere. The cottage harkens back to a far simpler era of waterfront homes. Not many of these quaint little cottages are still around but surely many once existed. It was great to be able to experience it as a place my grandparents might once have stayed. However the cottage is more comfortable than anything of its era! It has a good bed, pleasant bathroom, and well-equipped kitchen with a new fridge. We truly enjoyed our time there. We walked the beach at low tide and viewed the newer "fancy" homes and found shards of well-eroded iron as well as well-scratched Ray-Bans. Highlights were the Mexican restaurant (both nights) and The Bloedel Reserve. Bloedel is such an amazing experience. We were there 2 1/2 hours and I wish we'd had more time. Also the Kitsap transit system made going carfree carefree! Once we figured it out it was super easy and remarkably inexpensive. Scheduled BI buses are coordinated with ferry times and there is also on-demand bus service. Our bus took us straight from the ferry landing to the property. Thanks Diane for a very special experience!
