Summary: Stayed Sunday to Wednesday as a quick family getaway. Room was not ready at 4 but we went down the street to the Andrea for a quick meal and by the time we got back it was ready. Front desk staff was very friendly and lobby was clean and cutely decorated. We had a pool view room on the second floor. No elevator but stairs were not an issue for us. Room was clean and built in closet gave a nice amount of storage space. Bathroom was a decent size and very clean. Everything looked newly remodeled except light switches. Would recommend adding more hanging hooks around room or bathroom for towels etc. hotel is in a great spot if you like it a little quieter, private beach area for guests was great and it was only a short walk to busier part of strip. Pool was clean and heated. Our only complaint is that rooms are not attended at all so garbage was not removed and amenities like toilet paper was not refilled. Had to go to front desk to request more. Also outdoor area outside of room was not maintained daily, would not have been a big issues but the family in the room next to us would leave clothes, food, trash, bottles on the ground making the area look less than appealing. Overall nothing fancy but was perfect for a short getaway for our family of four.

Summary: We had an ocean front room with a balcony. We could hear the waves crashing from our beds. It was amazing. A big beautiful room with a pretty good size mini fridge & they delivered a microwave. My only complaint was no coffee maker in the room & we were kinda far from the main lobby, BUT we were really close to the water!

Summary: We’ve stayed at the hotel many times and we leave more impressed every time. The staff, the food and cocktails, the cleanliness and the accommodations are all top notch. We’ve recommended Pleasant View Inn to family and friends and after their stays they’ve called to thank us for telling them about it. Can’t wait to go back

Summary: The stay was nice overall. One of our door locks didn't work, and the outside door to the side of the hotel was chained wide open. Also, there wasn't a phone in the room, which was concerning in the event of an emergency, if someone didn't have access to a phone and couldnt contact hotel staff.

Summary: I was traveling for the night with my family; we selected this hotel because it was described as family friendly and they had an oceanfront restaurant with a kids menu and after 3 hours in the car with two small children this convenience was needed. About a week before our stay I got a voicemail warning that it was opening weekend and the pool would be closed and there would be no food. It was too late to try to find something else. When we arrived the staff barely looked up at us, they were clearly overwhelmed and not friendly and had us waiting because of technical difficulties. Then they charged us an extra $45 "destination" or "resort" fee... which is absurd because their pool and restaurant were both closed and we carried our own luggage (5 trips up 4 flights of stairs). I also don't think that a hotel without a bathtub is family friendly. I assumed it was going to have a tub like most hotels, and my 3 year old was terrified of the shower and it became incredibly dangerous holding my 1 year old in the shower who was slipping out of my arms and the water pressure was way too strong for her little head. The staff also didn't provide the wifi password. We had a balcony and the view was great, but around 7pm huge spotlight placed directly to the left of our balcony turned on flooding our balcony and ruining the experience. We had to use the blackout curtains just to block this intense light so no chance of waking up to a sunrise. It was overall a major disappointment.

Summary: The closeness to the ocean. Smelling and hearing waves crash right outside my door. The most calming sounds to fall asleep to. The fishing. The food was good too. Just a lovely get away. And romantic too!

Summary: Parts of the property and room were updated and other parts were a little warn out and outdated. Overall a decent room, comfortable clean beds and great shower. Right on beach so you can’t beat that
