Positive: From arrival to departure, the service was exceptional. Lorna and Ray, as hosts, make you feel like you have known them forever. They were so friendly and knowledgeable it made the stay. The hut is of exceptional quality. It has everything a visitor could ask for. Although you can't park next to the hut, car parking is not far less than a minute. You can see your car and a very handy trolley helps if you have lots of bags. Lorna and Ray have thought of everything from hampers to those little necessities like milk, butter etc. The hampers on arrival just add to the special quality of the stay. The homemade marmalade is a vitual Lorna hug at breakfast. The pizza oven and the fire bowl are excellent. The hot tub was the sparkle on the trip, so clean and so easy to do. The goats 🐐 are amazing. You can feed them and the cat and dog with free treats. There are chickens, too. There is an amazing circular walk. Sitting out of the hut there are so msny different burds from swallows, to tits to a pheasant who walks across every night (I am no bird watcher but thet were beautiful) On a night, sitting out was amazing the skies are stunning. Can't recommend this place for so many good points. A revisit is planned already.

Positive: Such an ididilic location, a perfect little slice of paradise for a few days away. The hut is immaculate, well stocked for everything you need and extremely comfortable. We could have not been made to feel more welcome. We will most definitely be back.

Positive: Poachers Hut is so amazingly set up! Very private, hot tub has a beautiful view, pizza oven was all set up ready to go and easy to use. So many thoughtful touches like an amazing welcome basket and extra blankets to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Even inside, there’s a lovely little wood burning stove and everything is so nicely designed! Hosts Lorna and Ray are wonderful too, and the resident goats and chickens are just the icing on the cake! Loved it all so much!

Positive: Beautiful setting, amazing hosts, and the hut had everything you could want and way more. Amazing welcome hamper, lovely hot tub, fire pit, and the pizza oven was great. A lot of very nice personal touches, would highly recommended to anyone.

Positive: The views are spectacular, sitting in the hot tub at night was amazing. The hut is done to a high standard, all the added touches and wood burner to keep you warm on a chilly morning. Pizza over makes a fantastic tasting pizza, was just completely out this world I loved it so much made my birthday was absolutely amazing. Lorna and Ray are so welcoming and made our stay wonderful thanks to you both I would highly recommend a stay at tye hut.

Positive: It was the most amazing and peaceful stay ever! I love the animals that were on the property they were so cute and cheeky and a extra bonus u were able to feed them! I loved the owners they were so friendly and helpful and they provided absolutely everything. Well worth the money!
