The perfect getaway whether you are looking to just relax and watch movies or read a book by the grand stone fireplace or have some fun with the numerous board games, poker table, or playing ping pong and air hockey, something for everyone! Minutes away from Lake Wallenpaupack! Looking to hit the slopes, many are nearby. Snowmobiling, ice fishing, tubing, antiquing, and so much more!
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Please be aware that we are following the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting our cabin after each guest(s) stay and before our new guest(s) arrival. We no longer just clean our cabin but also disinfect all areas of use by using chemicals to kill germs on all surfaces. Our cleaners follow each of these steps to ensure a healthy visit and a clean environment for us as owners and you as our guests.

Summary: The trip was great once again and we enjoyed ourselves as usual. Side notes, there was some lightbulbs out in the bathroom upstairs as well as one in the garage. Also, the floor heater in the master bathroom was very loud. Im not sure if that’s normal or if something needed some tightness. No complaints but just wanted to bring attention to that.

Summary: We were in Tafton for a surprise 40th birthday party for my cousin’s daughter. My cousin has a home on Fairview Lake so we spent most of our time there. Your place was 8 minutes away from the party so it was a great place for our family to sleep and have breakfast when we weren’t spending time with the extended family. Clean and roomy. Thanks.

Summary: This place is large, comfortable, and well appointed, and I and my friends enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Highlights include a comfortable Great Room with a large fireplace, and a cozy deck with a firepit to enjoy the woods and lake view. It was also nice to enjoy the sunroom and have a selection of games to play. One disappointment was to learn, only upon arrival, that lakeshore access was off limits as it is private property. That said, we had a great time here.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Tom & Z’s cabin. We enjoyed the fireplace in the main living area and used the sunroom for games and a secondary gathering spot. We were able to walk around the property a bit as well as take walks in the neighborhood. We slept in the upstairs bedrooms which fit 5 adults, a toddler and 2 infants very comfortably. The upstairs bathrooms were a bit of a challenge since they each have step up into the bathroom space but we were able to make it work! The views of the property are beautiful and overall we had a lovely stay. The nearby town (10 min) has plenty to offer for groceries, ordering in, or grabbing a pint at local breweries.

Summary: It was great time spent with family. Especially because it had snowed the week before so it was all white all around. Great rustic cabin feel. We were a large group of 13 people including kids. Slept comfortable. And although it was freezing cold outside, you couldn’t feel it inside. Lots of heaters.
