3 Bedroom House in Lucca

Private pool house consisting of two units located just north of Lucca, close to town with rich opportunities for hiking and biking in the immediate area. WiFi and large fenced garden.
100% privat pool, terrace, garden, house - not shared with anyone.
The property is very centrally located for visiting Lucca itself as well as all the famous cities of Tuscany. The surrounding area offers experiences such as the ancient villas "Ville Lucchese", several paths for hiking at the foot of the hills, so you can enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside, which in this area is characterized by vineyards and olive groves. It is no coincidence that the local aristocratic aristocratic families have built their impressive country residences right here over the centuries.
There are only 1.5 km to small shops and 1.9 km to the supermarket and the trip is done on paths through nature - maybe a brisk morning jog to pick up bread for breakfast.
In the completely fenced and very child-friendly garden of approx. 3,000 sm. with private olive grove, you find the mt. 8 x 4, mt. 1.50 deep swimmingpool (children must be supervised). It is surrounded by comfortable sun loungers and parasols. The pool is private and is not shared with others.
There is a covered terrace furnished for outdoor dining (pizza oven with grill) just as you further ahead towards the pool, has an outdoor living room with comfortable lounge furniture (BBQ). Outdoor shower. Table tennis.
The flat fenced garden as well as the ability to monitor the children from the covered porch make the place especially suitable for families with children.
The property consists of two separate units:
The main house, which is spread over two floors, is well equipped and decorated in a bright and inviting way, where the rustic Tuscan harmonizes with a more modern and comfortable style.
It is divided as follows:
entrance to living room with sofa bed and TV, well-equipped kitchen (5-burner gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine), dining room from which there is direct access to the covered and well-furnished porch. Here you have a dining table and chairs (BBQ), so you can enjoy the warm evenings during the holidays. Utility room with washing machine. WC.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom (with fan), a bathroom with tub and shower (hair dryer), a bedroom with two single beds (with fan), a storage room with wardrobe and access.
From the first floor there is access to a large covered terrace, furnished with lounge furniture. From here you have a wonderful view over the surroundingsand the beautiful landscape.
The cottage:
This small cottage is located in the garden slightly offset, between the main house and the pool. It is decorated in American "loft" style with entrance to living room divided into kitchen corner (gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine) with dining table and sofa corner with 1 person sofa bed and TV. Bathroom with shower (hair dryer).
On a large open first floor in alcove style, you have a comfortable double bed.
In front of the cottage there is a covered porch, which is furnished for al fresco dining (pizza oven with grill).
Air conditioning. Outdoor shower. WiFi internet connection, mosquito nets on the windows, LPG gas heating.
Available iron and ironing board, cot, high chair.
The main villa is on the one side adjoining with a resident Italian family house, but with private driveway, private garden with overgrown garden and hedge, the La Santa property fully functions as a detached house with the complete privacy that belongs to it.

Summary: Excellent startpoint to explore the most interesting parts of Tuscany. The homes are very good equipped, the indoor, outdoor spaces, garden and pool are very nice. The main house can be very worm in summer, but the vents are useful.

Summary: Perfect place to spend holiday, a clean and very beautiful house(s) to stay. Pool area and surroundings were beautiful. A nice, small local village nearby (no turists at all!!) with friendly people at cafes, shops and restaurants. Lucca city was also close by. Makes us want to come back :) Petteri

Summary: The property and grounds were beautiful. A short car ride to Lucca and the highway to other destinations. After a mildly stressful check in ( the wrong keys left in lock box) and difficulty contacting host, she did not reply via messaging on vrbo app. I had to get phone number from vrbo helpline. Keep in mind if traveling in summer that the main house is not air conditioned, despite AC listed under amenities. That being said house was clean and well appointed. I would stay there again in cooler weather
