The private garden is a real plus room where you can enjoy your meal in the shade of trees and around a barbecue or take a sunbath on the deckchairs.
The courtyard of the entrance is shared with Lydie's art studio (paintings and ceramics). You will find some of his works on the walls of the house, and can visit his workshop if the heart tells you.
You will have access to tourist sites in a radius of 10 km: the Abbey of Fontevraud, the castle of Montsoreau, the classified village of Cannes Saint Martin and its collegiate church, the castle of Saumur ....

Summary: Lovely quiet location but still within easy reach of Varennes which had excellent shops and bar/restaurant. House was nicely equipped but could have benefitted by having a microwave and a television. Lovely gardens front and back to enjoy the sun. Thierry was most helpful. Would recommend this property

Summary: We booked a week to stay in La Poesie in mid september. The owners could not have been more helpful. The house is beautifully decorated, tastefully and comfortably furnished. Its situation is tranquil, rural and so peaceful with a private garden to enjoy. There is so much to see and do in the area that we should have stayed longer.We had such a happy and restful stay, thank you
