Stylish and contemporary, the spacious living area is the perfect mix of home comfort and boutique hotel living. Relax and watch your favorite shows on the 49” TV. There’s seating for six on a full-size sleeper sofa, love seat, and armchair. You’ll find everything you need to create your favorite culinary delights in the well-appointed and modern kitchen. A full suite of stainless-steel kitchen appliances includes a dishwasher and electric range. Serve meals at a dining room table for everyone to enjoy. Guest amenities include complimentary WiFi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer.
Travel 13 miles to Galveston Island State Park, a great spot for hiking and birding. While there, check out the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for retro rides and waterfront dining. Summary: Overall, the condo was nice—everything was clean and well taken care of. However, I did have a few issues with our stay, mostly related to how the listing was worded.Nowhere in the listing did it mention that the condo was on the bay side. The way it was written made it seem like it was right off the ocean, as if you could walk straight out the back door onto the beach—but that wasn’t the case. The condo is on the bay side, not the beach side.The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful and came across as a bit lazy. Also, the listing mentioned that amenities from the Point West Beach Club were included, but it didn’t say you had to pay 25 per person for a paper wristband to access them. Without the wristband, you couldn’t use the pools, hot tub, or private beach—despite the listing making it sound like those amenities were part of the stay.It would have been helpful if the listing had clearly stated that there was a 25 fee for those “included” amenities. Another thing to be aware of: the condo is about 30 minutes away from downtown Galveston, and we weren’t able to get an Uber or Lyft during our stay. This made transportation a challenge, especially for those planning to explore the area without their own vehicle.

Summary: Whole unit was very clean and comfortable. Parking spaces are narrow but additional parking are very close. Building is not on the Gulf side of the shore but the bay is about 1/4 mile from building but no sand or swim area. Nicely kept grounds. Looking forward to our next stay.

Summary: We had a great time. Long weekend taking my Dad Fishing at San Luis Pass. This was a great location for that and he needed the elevator since he has a hard time with stairs. He also enjoyed the elevated bed. We all slept comfortably. I was happy to be able to bring our sog along and enjoyed taking long walks around pointe westcomplex. The walking and cart paths are expansive. We did not use the pools so I can't comment on that. This condo had everything we needed. T We definitely come again.

Summary: We booked this place quickly after our first Vacasa rental was damaged during the hurricane. When we arrived we were thankful for early check in and the elevator was working. Upon check in there was a note that the bathroom sink was broken and maintainers bring scheduled. Maintenance showed up unannounced and opened the door while our toddler was asking and accidentally woke her up; also scared me. The sink got fixed and it was fine. Was not his fault because no one told him we had early check in. The WiFi provided with name and password was not even an option to pick. We had to call guest services and wait for 30 min to get correct info. The place was not as clean as I prefer. You could tell no one had stayed here for awhile with dust everywhere. The master bed was so comfy but could use new sheets. There were parts of the couch that were dingy and need to be fixed , along with parts of the baseboards looked chewed up by a dog maybe? There was hair in the both bathrooms that was not ours which was gross. Lastly , the master bedroom got really hot even without opening balcony door and temp was low. They did provide a extra fan but it was so gross and looked like it had never been cleaned before. We loved the location and the view. We also loved the amenities of both pools. My daughter loved it and we rented a golf cart of easy access everywhere. The food and drinks were great also at the restaurant. Would recommend pointe west, but maybe a different condo or house, unless some things listed above were improved.

Summary: Beautiful condo on the bay side of pointe west. Was only a 3 minute drive to the beach club and beach access. Condo was beautifully decorated, with a nice big patio. It’s on the 3rd floor, but we had no problems being able to use the elevator. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including a griddle for pancakes.
