Positive: Amazing location! Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Negative: They originally put us in a much smaller room than what we booked. When I advised them, we had to wait while they got the room booked ready although we didn’t arrive until close to 6pm with only a one night stay. The restaurant food was good, but many of the menu items were unavailable.

Summary: Great location with kind staff, but coming from someone who lives in Ecuador it a mediocre stay one night getaway.

Negative: The cabin was good but the facilities were a bit dated although they tried to upgrade them with basic esthetic moderations. The shower kept going from cold to hot and there was no option to let in fresh air.

Summary: The paramo is overwhelmingly beautiful!

Positive: The staff. Starting from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the guides, they were amazing. Extremely polite, fun, and very knowledgeable. Really makes for a fantastic experience. The place itself is magical, and the hotel has managed to get it through to its guests. The food was excellent, and at a great price/value.

Negative: My only comment was that guests should receive the activities and meal schedule ahead of time in order to not miss any of them.

Summary: Would go again, and take friends and family.
