Positive: Clean room with good lighting and two bedside lamps. Clean towels and sheets. Close to a beach and some restaurants. Easy to get around by scooter. Thank you for having us.
Negative: The pool is too chlorinated in my opinion, but we mainly went to the beach. Since we didn't use the pool much, it was easy to find cheaper accommodation on the island. Be more generous with the bread. I asked for an extra slice of bread (2 slices at breakfast) and it was refused. Bathroom needs a deep cleaning in the corners that are turning yellow.

Positive: We had an amazing stay, big thanks to our super hosts, Mark and Inayah who gave us many great tips and recommendations and made our stay joyful and memorable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. A good snorkeling beach is nearby in walking distance. There are good cafes, restaurants and a grocery store nearby. I totally recommend this hidden gem.

Positive: Brand new beautiful accommodation, with spectacular spaces and a wonderful view of the sea. Mr. Mark was not present, but his wife Inaya attended to us carefully. We went on a nice walk with her. The massage provided by the staff was also pleasant. Good breakfast on the huge teracce started the day very nicely.

Positive: Our stay was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed snorkelling on the beach which is next to the hotel and the host was so kind to show us the hills and all the surrounding villages.
Negative: We were sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer

Positive: Wow! What a great place to explore the Amed area! Inayah and Mark’s wonderful guesthouse is a magnificent place that comes with a lovely swimming pool and delicious breakfast! Our room had the best sea view - both from the super comfy bed and the balcony! Because the beautiful room has no kitchen, we could use the main kitchen below to prepare a light lunch. Unfortunately we only stayed 5 nights - we could have easily stayed for a whole month! The shower (both in- and outdoor) was the best we had so far! Lipah beach is just a 3 minute walk from the house where you can snorkel directly from the beach (lots of colourful fish, corals and turtles). There are also abundant and very good dining options in walking or scooter distance - you are spoiled for choice. Mark, a passionate hiker, even took us to an amazing hiking tour to explore the surroundings of the area and gave us lots of good hiking tips. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ accommodation! 100% recommended!

Positive: The owners of the property are amazingly caring, helpful and bend over backwards to help ensure all is well. Mark and Inayah get the gold medal for service and friendliness. They go above and beyond expectations, inviting guests to join in local cultural occasions, even providing appropriate clothing (this included a temple celebration and a wedding). Mark and Inayah along with their staff are there to support with anything that could help make our holiday enjoyable. Exceptional. The room is recently built, clean and well equipped. The pool was a nice place to cool off. Lipah beach is close by, only a five minute walk. Breakfast was provided, and there are plenty of places nearby to eat. We loved our time there. We extended it a further week.

Positive: It was our first time visiting Amed and this lovely place, Balty Bali in Lipah was the perfect way to start. Mark and Inayah are super friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The balcony in our room offered the most amazing view of the sunrise. Love the place and the Indonesian breakfast was sooo good! Appreciate them giving us a shot of Jamu on our first morning there, we are now hooked on that stuff. Unfortunately we couldn't get a photo with them as they had to leave the next day with some friends, but even in their absence, everything moved like clockwork. They can sort you out with scooter rental, laundry and snorkels. And if Mark offers you the chance to go on a hike with him, do not pass up that opportunity. The sights and views in and around Amed are breathtaking. Thank you guys! We had the best time in Lipah and will be back to stay at your place for longer!
