Summary: We enjoyed our trip to New Zealand but we’re disappointed in our stay in Auckland. The location was great and the place has a lot of potential but sadly its not well cared for. It is not managed by the owners but instead a management company. Had to go through some extra steps before being given entry information. More an inconvenience than anything but seemed unnecessary since all that information had been provided to VRBO and we were already approved. Still had to wait outside the property for about 30-45 minutes before we could get in. There was only one tea towel in the kitchen, No paper towels. Ants came in and infested one of the down stairs bedrooms forcing my daughters to move to another room.there was no food in that room. We came home and found them on their bed. One opted to sleep on the couch. There looked to me water damage and perhaps mold in the laundry room from an adjacent room that wasn’t being used but there was an air purifier running 24/7 so I assume they were aware. Linens were clean and we had plenty of towels just not thing to use in the kitchen. The place served it purpose but we didn’t want to spend much time there just to used to sleep. It’s a really nice neighborhood and the layout of the house is cute but needs some repairs and some attention before rented again. And should be properly stocked with some basic supplies.

Summary: Overall it was clean & tidy but it was a mission to park & reverse my truck parking is tricky and also the waste disposal bins where almost full & it was at the begining of the drive way which is really inconvenient need to walk all the way up for rubbish disposal.

Summary: Good Location to Shops, and Food eateries. Driveway very tricky to navigate. Property itself needs a lot of tender care done to it. Guys had to work on the downstairs bathroom door as would not close. Beds were comfortable. Ants a problem in entry area.

Summary: It was a great location which gave us quick access to Ponsonby (walking distance) and Auckland Central. The apartment is a little dated and could probably do with some TLC, but comfortable beds and surprisingly cozy even though there was no heating (there were however fan heaters which were a great help) It is situated on a steep driveway which takes some navigation to get in and out - we have a 8 seater van and while it was tricky, it worked out. Check in was easy, even though you do it via a property management company - it is well documented on bookabach so no surprise - just a few extra steps. I found them responsive and easy to deal with. If you are going as a family there are only double/queen beds (x3) so you need to work out sleeping arrangements if you have older kids.
