Positive: Integrated in nature. Indie vibe. Relaxed. Swimming pool was great. Praia do Monte Velho is pristine and not crowded. Ti Lena restaurant was great too (other restaurants with great value for money!)
Negative: Breakfast could have started earlier than 9. Kitchen closed around 8pm. In these hot long august days, would be great to be able to have more extended periods (not too important, just a note)

Positive: Beautiful, well-looked after ground that is only 20-30 min cycling away from the coast. Our room was clean and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast offered a good selection of sweet and savoury. Free tea and coffee provided all day. Words simply don't do the place justice - we didn't want to leave at the end of our stay!

Positive: I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Ponte Pedra - Melides Country House Adults Only. It's a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for relaxing. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was very cozy and spotless. One of my favorite moments was spending time in the coziest little corner, where guests can enjoy board games, books, and a warm cup of tea or coffee—available for free 24/7. The breakfast room was charming, and the food was always fresh and tasty, with some days offering more variety than others. We also went for a walk around the property, which is absolutely gorgeous. They offer simple meals throughout the day—while the selection isn’t extensive, everything we tried was definitely tasty. Even though the weather wasn’t warm enough for a swim, the pool area was still incredibly serene. I also really appreciated the complimentary bikes available for guests—such a great initiative! I’ll definitely be coming back!
Negative: The access roads aren't in the best condition, especially with the recent rainy weather, but the drive is short and manageable for any car. Our room was located next to the area where the staff would gather in the evenings, and on one of the nights, it was a bit noisier than I would’ve liked—especially close to midnight. That said, it was only that one night; the rest of our stay was peaceful and quiet.

Positive: From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful welcome from Anna and Tess. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were shown around the property and told about recommendations for resteraunts and things to do in the area. We were given coffee and some delicious rice pudding made by Tess. This place is so relaxing and it is so convenient to visit the local beaches. We had breakfast both mornings, which was excellent, and we had dinner one night, which again was delicious. We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return.
