Truly an "up north" home located on Bungy Bay (Woman Lake), part of the beautiful pristine waters of the 5500 acre Woman Lake chain. Noted for great fishing, boating and family fun on the water. You will fall in love with its welcoming entry way with a large "log bench" to hold all your beach toys, gear bags and whatever bags you might bring. Large fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful pine table that seats 14 for family meal time. Comfortable living room with a gas burning fireplace, big screen Smart TV with WiFi - also a main level bathroom with walk-in shower. You will spend most of your time in the beautiful front deck, with couches, chairs and beautiful lake views (lake is less than 50' from home). Custom made for relaxing, listening to the loons calling, happy hours, curling up with a good book or taking an afternoon nap. From the front you have access to an outside wrap around deck for sunbathing or taking in the views. The lake yard has a fire pit area with chairs overlooking Bungy Bay.
Upper level has 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king bed - each with closets and 2 overlooking the lake. Family room has been converted to a bunk room with 2 sets of queen bunks. A children's play area with Smart TV, and games - plenty of fun for that rainy day. Upper level has 2 full baths with tub (1)/ walk in shower(1).
You will have access to our 12 person pontoon, or canoe for hours of fun on the lake and 2 kayaks. Lake shore has a hard bottom for swimming and water games / swim raft is included as well. Cruising the lake you can see bald eagles nestled in the towering white and red pines or a pair of loons nurturing their babies on their backs. Longville is accessible by boat with city docks or by car, 8 miles away. Noted for the famous Turtle races and children's games every Wed afternoon. shopping, dining and of course Frosty's for ice cream or pizza.

Summary: We had a great time. Everything was wonderful. Lots of room. Very clean. Beds were comfy. Gathering around the kitchen island was fun. Enjoyed the deck, firepit, & pontoon. We had beautiful weather. Would rent this again. Thank you very much Dan.

Summary: House was very nice, large kitchen and eating area, had everything we needed. Nice living room and deck overlooking the lake. The bedrooms very a good size, and the bunk area is large. Furnishings were very nice and it was clean. Fireplace was nice on a cold rainy day. Loved having the pontoon. The house is secluded and offers good privacy for that get away vacation. Owner was very responsive when we needed to know how to operate the fireplace. Drawbacks would be that swim deck was full of birds and the weeds were at the shore (maybe due to it being September) & the walk down to the lake is somewhat steep.

Summary: One of nicest rentals we have stayed in on this chain of lakes, and we have stayed in quite a few!!!! Booking for next year, will be great for the grandchildren

Summary: This was our third stay at this cabin. It is a great setup for a larger group ( we had up to 8 adults some nites) with everyone being able to find room to spread out & relax! We loved having the pontoon, paddle boards, and kayaks and used them daily. The kitchen is well stocked & a joy to cook in. All in all a relaxing, wonderful week! Thank you Dan for sharing this cabin with us.

Summary: My family just spent a week at this beautiful lake home. We appreciated the choices that were made decorating the home with the kitchen table being the centerpiece. Time spent together on the pontoon and at the fire pit were favorites. Not sure where you put the mosquitos while we were there, but they were not a problem for us! The home had everything we needed and it was a quiet location with not a lot of traffic on the lake. Thanks for everything!

Summary: We stayed at the cabin for a week, 5 adults and 3 kids. Loved everything about it. The beds were comfy, and the cabin is bigger inside than the pictures portray. Very few mosquitos and we enjoyed a campfire almost everyday. The included pontoon was such a great perk! Took it out most days for fishing and swimming. Would definitely recommend this cabin! The owner was easy to reach, although we never had any issues to report. Everything worked great.

Summary: Another wonderful vacation in the Longville area! We stayed in one Dan's other properties on Girl Lake a couple of years ago and loved it but wanted to try this larger house on Woman Lake. We had such a great time and appreciated Dan's attention on a couple of questions we had during our stay. We loved being able to use the pontoon boat, kayaks, stand up paddle board, and canoe. The kids swam out to the floating dock several times each day, fished in various locations, and relaxed in the awesome bunk area! We went to Longville on Wednesday for the turtle races, and the kids won a few free ice cream scoops from Frosty's for their participation in games and dances. One day we took a short trip to Itasca State Park and walked across the Mississippi River and climbed a tower too. We love this area of Minnesota and hope to visit again!

Summary: Wonderful week vacation with family! Dan was great to work with and answered my questions promptly. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Most of our time was spent on the pontoon exploring and fishing on Woman Lake.

Summary: This was the perfect place for our annual ladies weekend. The house is perfectly appointed. We enjoyed the windows overlooking the lake for watching the sunset. The long table in the kitchen was perfect for a puzzle and spreading out knitting projects.
