Positive: The location is truly lovely. A beautiful corner of Scotland. Rugged mountains, a cottage right on the loch shores. The Atlantic in the distance. An area with WW2 history. Wonderful friendly locals. Plus thoughtful hosts who have thought of everything to make their visitors stay pleasurable.
Negative: Can’t think of anything.
Summary: A place to return. Thanks to the hosts for sharing their beautiful corner of the country with us.

Positive: Excellent location, very quiet and peaceful. The owners have made it home from home. With everything you will need for a stay there.
Negative: A second toilet would be handy especially if 4 were staying. The hoover smelled of wet dog unfortunately so I had to stop using it as I’m allergic even though the property says no pets.
Summary: Excellent location, very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views on a clear day.

Positive: Cozy, the location is perfect for what I was looking for. the views outstanding. Stunning sandy beach a walk/ short drive away. Warm rooms with plenty of space, fantastic shower, fully enclosed garden that is right beside the sea, comfortable lounge furniture, books, TV & DVDs available, local information & good WiFi, host kindly gave us a Christmas tree for our seasonal stay
Negative: no dishwasher or tumble drier, very small bath towels, my son complained his bed wasn’t comfy, two real fires but can’t use them as electric ones in place, parking for one car only, one bedroom had a very odd smell that we couldn’t identify or get rid of.
Summary: Wonderful short stay in the most stunning location. Lovely house & garden
