3 Bedroom House in Tranquil Harbour, Oak Island

Arrive and Revive when you experience the tranquility of Oak Island in comfort at The Crab Shack. The Crab Shack is impeccably clean and perfect for families. With a large, private, fenced back yard, your pups are welcome too! We even have a doggie door. The moment you walk in the door, you can almost hear the house whisper "Welcome Home".
Whether spending the day at the beach, shelling, fishing or sunbathing, coming "home" to The Crab Shack after a busy day of fun will delight you. With thoughtful amenities throughout the home, comfortable beds and plenty of space to spread out, you'll not want to go back home at the end of your vacation.
We have televisions in the living room and all three bedrooms which are "smart" tv's or Roku-enabled. You're welcome to use your own apps.
Guests will have access to the entire home, except for two owner's closets inside, and an outside storage building. (Sorry, the covered golf cart in the garage is not available to guests).
Other things to note
Be sure to bring beach towels and beach gear!
The primary guest must be at least 26 years old.
Your dogs are welcome! We charge $100 per dog and have a limit of two dogs. A separate fee request will be sent upon booking for guests who plan to bring their dogs.
In addition to the amenities listed, we also have a crockpot and countertop ice maker!
Linens will be provided by a separate linen service.
You'll have a starter supply bathroom tissue, paper towels, trash bags and more to begin your vacation. Please let us know in advance if there are any items we can help with to ensure your comfort..

Summary: The house was everything we wanted and could have needed! All was as described in the listing and the amenities were more than what we had anticipated. The pool was great and our first night were surprised at how beautifully the backyard and pool were lit up. After accidently locking ourselves out, our host and co-host provided immediate response and were at the property within the half hour to get us back in. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and I love how the back yard backs up to a wooded area. The linen service was surprisingly excellent...the towels were exceptionally soft and plush. The kitchen was fully functional with pots/pans, plates, coffee maker, small cooking appliances, etc. The AC was consistent and sufficient in keeping the house cool during the week of our stay when outside temps were hitting 100+. Being our first time on Oak Island, we loved the area and selecting this home for our stay really just made it all the more special to spend time with family. Thank you!!

Summary: The house was great! Had one small issue with the pool but Jenna was extremely responsive and got it fixed quickly! Would highly recommend and plan on staying here in the future!

Summary: This home is exactly what we needed. Very accurately described. Clean and beautiful. Most importantly close to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need. Pool was great also. Our dog loved the fenced-in backyard. Not one bad thing to say.

Summary: House was well stocked and clean. Beds were super comfy. And pool was added bonus! Loved how close it was to the beach and we enjoyed playing all the board games. They had quite a selection!

Summary: We decided on a last minute beach trip and wanted to bring our furry family member and this cute place was available! The house was the perfect size for 5 people and a pet. Great, quiet neighborhood for walking & biking. Was a short, easy walk to the beach. The pool was a fabulous addition and perfect way to end a long day at the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed...loved the countertop ice maker! And the doggie door! This was a great place to kick off our summer season! Would definitely book again! Thank you!

Summary: Had a great few days at this property. Well appointed kitchen, lovely pool, comfy furniture, great water pressure. Ideal location, was able to walk to so many places using quiet back roads, including the beach. Would happily stay here again.

Summary: Property is very well presented in the listing. The only surprise was the access to the back yard, which is through the Master bedroom. Made sleeping in tough! LOL. We were also having a hard time with TV access, but the property manager Mariah was amazing!! She came by and sat with us, gave us a tutorial and then the "year-round resident" view of local eateries, etc. We tried several of her suggestions and loved them. Neighbors are very friendly. We had a play date with neighbors german shepard pup and told of a dog park on the way to Southport that was awesome. This is our second year in the neighborhood and love how easy it is bike, quiet and friendly!. We used Mr. Beach bike rentals and they drop off and pick up right to the driveway. I walked to the beach with the dog. We stayed three weeks in February .

Summary: We had a great week! The fenced-in yard was wonderful for our fur-babies in addition to not having to worry about carpet. Also, we rented a golf cart and made it to the beach each day in a jiffy! The owner spoke with us by phone to answer questions about the TV and was so nice. We loved our stay!!
