The indoor open fireplace is perfect for cosy nights with a great bottle (or two...) of Hunter Valley wine! Or enjoy a night under the stars and around the campfire with our outdoor firepit!
Located at Poppa's Olives - a working olive and cattle farm on over 200 acres! Poppa's Place is your perfect place to getaway from it all! With a totally unique 2 story design, it captures the most amazing sunrises and sunsets across the valley and mountain ranges. The large open-plan living style is more than spacious for 8 guests. Make yourself at home!
Of the four large bedrooms, two have walk in robes and one has a full ensuite and the bath that captures the most amazing valley views as you soak away your cares! Two bedrooms have private balconies, showcasing more amazing views over the valley. Have a big family? Ask us about how we cater for larger groups (there's an additional sofa bed and two day beds - just byo linen for them). Watch the kids play on the outdoor equipment as you relax around the outdoor firepit (fire regulations permitting - check with us). For the cavemen, grab the wheelbarrow and gather the wood yourself! Prefer the creature comforts? Enjoy the indoor open fireplace with complimentary kindling and firewood (and firestarters for the novices!). Take a leisurely stroll around the farm.. through the olive grove, around the dams, feed the cattle, horses, chickens and alpacas (just mind the cow pats!). Enjoy nature at its best!

Summary: We had a fabulous time celebrating my partners 30th birthday weekend. The hosts were so lovely and allowed us to have people visit for a BBQ. The place is perfect for both entertaining and for a relaxing weekend away taking in the breathtaking landscape and relaxed atmosphere. The animals were very entertaining also!

Summary: My sister's family and my family stayed here for a quick weekend getaway for A Day on the Green. It was a great property and the kids absolutely had a ball. There was plenty of room for our two families. Would definitely love to go back.

Summary: The property was an idyllic place for a bunch of friends getting together to treat a friend having a difficult time. We were booked in for two nights and we didnt even leave the property. We had onsite personal wine tasting and catering. Everything was perfect. Thankyyou to all our hosts tgat made our stay

Summary: Fantastic house in a great location. Kids were able to explore the property and interact with lots of animals over our stay. Catherine was fantastic giving the kids jobs which they really enjoyed doing to help out on the farm with the animals. Extremely generously stocked fridge/pantry to make the stay even more comfortable.

Summary: We came with family and friends, 8 of us all had a lovely, relaxed and enjoyable stay with Tony and Catherine. The place was amazing, great views from balcony and rooms, we saw incredible moon rise, sunset, milk-way, misty mountain…. So spacious indoor and kids friendly outdoor play area, with fun to play with chickens, alpacas, cows… will definitely go back next time. Highly recommend
