Brand new 2023 build in Portage Lakes! The "Portview Carriage House" sits at a quiet dead-end, and overlooks Long Lake with large forward facing windows for a serene lake and sunset view, with the occasional view of the Goodyear blimp and other arriving traffic into Akron Executive. The property is modern and clean, and provides all of the amenities required to feel right at home, including a full kitchen and laundry room, free to use. Most rooms are monotone with splashes of color. Be one of the first to reserve!
Six minutes from Firestone Country Club, ten minutes from Akron Executive airport, and fifteen minutes from Akron Canton Airport, our location at the heart of PLX is suited for access to any local event. The iconic PLX clock tower is only a minute away and near many local dining establishments enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
Access to owners private kayak/canoe launch provided across the street and down a short incline. Bring a kayak!
Please note that while we have installed an excellent new filtration system, the house uses well water rather than city water.

Summary: This was a wonderful place to stay. The house was in excellent condition and well cared for. It is a very quiet, and safe neighborhood. The host was respectful and responsive. And, For us, it was great area. If you want to fish or take a boat out, if you have one, you are in the correct place. The only downside is if you are looking for a place to be able to Walk and take strolls and be near things than this maybe be difficult. I would surely come back.
