Positive: So.... our experience was affected by a big storm the night before.....which unfortunately for the hosts really caused them chaos such that they couldn't put us up. One of those Force Majeure type things. They kindly arranged for replacement cabin accommodation nearby which was basic, cold, and not quite finished, but we were tired and wet and would have slept in a bus shelter if needed. They gave us a good breakfast though and the breakfast staff were lovely. We didn't get what we expected, but given the circumstances they the best they could.

Positive: It was the most perfect stay very near Chaiten! Breakfast was wonderful, different options The stuff was very helpful and the room was just perfect, big room, the bathroom was very clean

Positive: The grounds were lovely, with a road you could take to a pebble beach. Our accommodations were nice and the location was good, although you need a car to get into town. Suppers are available sometimes and are very good. Our hosts were lovely - welcoming and accommodating.
Negative: The wifi wasn’t great, which was a bit of an issue as there is no cell coverage.

Positive: The hotel is excellent, the room is spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was good and the dinner we ordered was excellent, we received explanations for everything we asked and the staff helped us with everything, the descent to the beach and the sunset in the evening were also a good experience
Negative: Our only comment was about hairs left in the shower from previous guests, which shouldn't happen.

Positive: The breakfast was really good. The people were really nice and welcoming.
Negative: There was confusion over whether we had booked one or two rooms. The second room was large, but smelt a little musty. This did not affect my sleep, though. Bed was good and comfortable.
Summary: Very nice place to stay. Good quiet location out of, but close to town.

Negative: The rooms were strangely equipped. One room had a fridge, sink and kitchen utensils but no means to cook. Also the hot water wasn’t working so they moved us 🙏. Next room was spacious but only beds and a bathroom. But hot water and a good heater!
