Positive: It was a very peaceful location and had everything we needed. I loved the big window looking out into nature and how clean and neat everything was. We enjoyed the private fire pit, chairs, and readily available firewood with starters. It was also nice to walk the nature trail. We will definitely be visiting again.
Negative: I didn't love the flooring in the cabin, it looked cool, but I think a vinyl or other hard surface would be easier to keep clean. I also would have liked one or two hand towels for the sink area.

Positive: My husband and I really enjoyed the drive to the cabins, it really set the mood for our stay. It's off the beaten path and really gives you the feeling of privacy and seclusion while being only 20 minutes or so from surrounding towns. The scenery is really beautiful. Our cabin was very clean, had everything we needed and the staff was welcoming and helpful, was quick to respond when we accidentally locked ourselves out. The views are really amazing, and sitting outside at the pit listening and watching the critters and all else in the woods was one of the highlights. Very peaceful. We had a few thunderstorms while there for two nights, and even then very much enjoyed them from the cabin, staying dry playing cards. We were very happy to find this place and we can't wait to come back and definitely will.
Negative: It's not a deal breaker for us but we really think there shouldn't be additional charges for the coffee, tea, food items left in cabins, that was a first for us and found it odd.
