Positive: This family is so kind and welcoming. They took excellent care of me during my stay. My single room was spacious with a sofa, desk, and chair. Perfect for my work on my laptop! Radika also cooked tasty meals for me & the location is perfect. Very peaceful yet quite central. There are beautiful walks. To the nearby mountains and hill, suspension bridge, monasteries, and sacred caves.

Positive: I stayed at Poudel Homestay over New Year in Pharping and felt truly welcomed into a local family’s daily life. The room is simple and functional, but what makes this place special is the human connection. Evenings were spent together around the fire, sharing tea and stories – a beautiful, authentic glimpse into family life in Nepal. My stay was short, yet very touching. I left with a full heart and deep appreciation for the warmth and kindness I experienced. A meaningful end to my journey through Nepal.
