Positive: The apartment, renovated from an ancient animal stable, was beautifully done, with modern facilities and fine construction. The beds were super comfy, and the whole atmosphere was very peaceful. Tommy, the owner, is extremely friendly and charming, and very helpful. We had great conversations, and wish we had time to stay longer. We plan to return to see more of Slovenia, and will definitely stay there again.
Summary: I can't recommend Tommy's place highly enough!

Positive: Very nice reception that included a birthday gift for my bicycle tour Unique structure with stone features (see pics) - I enjoyed the aesthetics
Negative: No tv programs as owners are waiting for cable installation (I could use my phone to cast to tv for some of my programming) No utensils - told owner I'm not cooking but no utensils at all like a spoon or knife (to make sandwiches) - I imagine this will be corrected for future renters. I opened dishwasher and found the only spoon there, so cleaned it for use. A couple of suggestions (I realize the apartment is a work in process): Install a long extension cord under stairs with outlet strip so stuff can be charged while in the living room The place doesn't have a lot of light as is ... suggest an economical solution of a nice moveable screen door so front door could be left open for extra sunshine in the daytime. The AC works mainly for living room and kitchen area but some (not much) does flow upstairs to bedroom. Bedroom is upstairs with no bathroom, and stairs need to be climbed with care (or descended with care in the middle of the night!) Pretty expensive for what's on offer (compared with my other stays) - places like this would normally be in the $75 to $100 range. I realize that some of this rental income is to maintain or improve the rental, which is a complicated work in progress project.

Positive: - very interesting architectural concept incorporating rocks in the building - very well equipped kitchen - everything clean and new - friendly, young owners, many small signs of kindness and hospitality (sweets, drinks. etc.) - good internet, Netflix, Youtube - good luck with your Booking.com career! :-)
Negative: - bit far away from the cities, one definitely needs a car - parking possibilities should be improved mid term - making phone contact upon arrival, finding the way to the apartment was not so obvious, make sure to have more hints about this
