Negative: The place was clean but there was so meany ladybugs about flying around inside the lodge I do love ladybugs just big in the lodge

Positive: Very clean and new. Plenty of space. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen had enough for what we needed (we only had breakfast in the lodge). Site was nice and quiet. Liked that it was pedestrian and not car access to the lodge. Pool was amazing. Beautiful view and location.

Negative: It was lovely but there were a few things to add to make it even better: a shower mat, a tea towel, hangers in the wardrobe, a tv remote in the bedroom, small table by the sofas (so you don’t have to put mugs on the floor), 4 dining chairs instead of 3, 4 glasses instead of 3. The curtains covered the heater which said ‘do not cover’. The shower pressure was really low. No recycling facilities. Electric wire covered in tape outside the front door didn’t give a good first impression.

Positive: The Lodge was very clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable with top quality bedding, pillows and quilt. The use of the pool facilities were included in the price of our stay. The peacock roaming around was lovely to see in the day. All staff we spoke to were very happy, smiling and helpful.

Negative: Only down side was no oven or hob in the Lodge but with the toaster and Microwave grill you could still cook some things.
