Summary: The Prickly Pear Hideout was very cute, clean, and exactly as advertised. The studio, which is located behind the main house with its own separate entrance, is roughly the size of an average hotel room, but with more amenities. Although I didn't do any cooking during my stay, it looked like there was adequate equipment to do so. The bedding was very soft--like sleeping on clouds! The space was plenty large enough for myself, and probably enough space for most couples--but probably not enough space for any more than that. I especially like how it was decorated to the "Prickly Pear" theme, with all the southwestern colors, artwork, and plants!The Prickly Pear Hideout is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but it is not really walking distance from any shops, restaurants, or points of interest. I did not bring a car, so I relied mostly on rideshare services, but I think having a rental car would have been a good idea. There is more than enough street parking available. The walkway down the side of the house was well-lit at night, and I never heard any noise from the residents of the main house.The owner had excellent communication and messaged me once during my stay to check-in and see if I needed anything (I didn't).I would happily return to stay at this location again, but I would probably bring a rental car next time!
