Cute & Cozy with floor to ceiling views of the lake. Shallow bay and sandy beaches are kid friendly. Private dock with room for boats. Cabin has 1 bed (with queen) & 1 bath (tub/shower), with large loft and 6 single mattresses - stack into 3 single beds or even a king + 1 single. Vintage sofa bed in main room. Kitchen fully equipped. New fridge.
Clean Bedding & bath towels included.
Starlink Internet included. Generally good download speeds. Great for streaming high quality on a rainy day, or working from home for an emergency video conference, but you really should be out having fun on the water!
Main room has grand views of the lake, with a large, beautiful custom stone fireplace to keep you warm on chilly nights, or electric heat if you prefer. Floor to ceiling windows over the entire front of the cabin, giving you all the lake view to make your vacation perfect.
Deck on the front, with BBQ and just a short few steps to the beach. Large cedar resurfaced dock, with boat ties and a swim ladder. Roughly a 3 foot depth on sides and 3.5-4' depth at the end.
Camp fire pit at the beach with a rustic bench to enjoy it. Nicely sheltered & shallow water for kids to play. Plenty of beach/dock chairs included. Bring your own toys & boats!
Loft access is with drop down ladder stairs, so small children should have parental supervision.
Bring your own food and bottled water. Tap is unfiltered from the lake. Laundry (if needed) is available in Coolin, about 12 miles away.

Summary: Ron is an amazing host! This cozy cabin has a breathtaking view of Priest Lake through a full wall of windows open to the Lake. Don't let the small footprint of this cabin fool you--it is very well equipped with everything that is needed and more. There were 5 of us, and this cabin met our needs wonderfully. The kids navigated the stair-ladder to the loft with ease. The loft slept the three of them very comfortably, and probably could have slept another youngster if needed (the mattresses can be stacked or not for flexibility). The location of this cabin is another plus. Bear Creek Bay is a nice, protected bay with fun Bear Creek to explore by kayak or paddleboard. The snorkeling and fishing in the bay are good (our kids caught and ate fish almost daily). It is close to Elkins and Indian Creek Campground (this is where we launched the boat, and of course got ice cream at the park store). If you have a boat, this is also close to 8-Mile Island where you can see the Vinther-Nelson cabin, a piece of Priest Lake history. We even discovered there is a layer of clay at the bottom of the lake here that the kids harvested and, after "'kneading" it a bit they had workable clay to make creations. We loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee or tea on the private dock and gazing at the stars in the evening. This is a gem of a cabin and location!

Summary: The owner, Ron is a lovely human and gracious host. The cabin is well-cared for with great windows showing a beautiful view of the magical waters of Priest lake and the patio is just steps away from the beach and dock. I am coming back as often as I can! Thank you, Ron!!

Summary: Beautiful spot right on the water in a quiet bay, we saw turtles geese bald eagles and even a large fish that hung out. House was easy to use lots of cooking supplies. We had to work part time and wifi worked fine. Last few days the new Verizon tower came online good cell coverage now whole north end of Lake. Ron and Shy super friendly and very accommodating.

Summary: This little cabin was a piece of heaven right on the water. Having the dock for our own private use was perfect for our pontoon. The cabin was very clean and stocked with any dish or utensil you could need. If we weren't out on the boat exploring the lake, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the beautiful view. Ron and his wife were wonderful hosts. I cannot wait to go back!!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with stunning views of Priest Lake. Ron is a very friendly and attentive host. He was happy to share his fishing knowledge and techniques for the lake. The cabin is bit on the rustic side, but well appointed with everything you need. It is also situated nicely right on the water with it's own dock. The A frame design really opens up the spectacular views of the lake.

Summary: We stayed here with our two little ones (1yo and 4yo) and loved having the little beach to splash around on, the dock to hang out on and swim off of, eating all our meals out on the deck, paddle boarding in the bay, and being able to jump in our boat and go for a cruise anytime. It was great to be on a central and quieter part of the lake. The neighboring houses are close by and there was some construction going on next door, but we didn't let it bother us. The cabin has the essentials and traveling with little kids we always appreciate vacation rentals that are simple (less precious things to worry about kids getting into or breaking!) There was just enough room for our travel crib in the bedroom and we brought extra dark fabric to hang in addition to the light blinds and an extra fan for white noise. My husband and son slept great in the loft. Needing to do our own cleaning and bring all our own linens and supplies this summer (2020), as well as needing to bring drinking water and pack out our garbage definitely added a layer of complexity to the trip, but was definitely manageable. Ron and Schi were warm, welcoming and helpful whenever we had a question or need. We hope to come back again someday.
