Positive: Great position on the Prinsengracht canal, very easily walkable to city centre and Metro, trams and buses. Well run hotel, clean and organised. A very pleasant place to stay in Amsterdam. Breakfast perfectly adequate.

Negative: Fair amount of noise from other guests. No tea/coffee/milk, but has kettle and small fridge.

Positive: Very good location. It's a quite area which is better to rest. Breakfast was ok even with gluten free bread! Stuff very polite. There is a very funny cat sometimes :)

Negative: You need to leave the key everytime you leave which reminds old times and has some charm....

Positive: Convenient location. Warm and clean. Bed comfortable. Reasonable sized room (although en-suite a bit small.)

Negative: Cramped area for self-service breakfast. Limited choice of food. No bar. Various faults in room, ie no plug in sink - hence not able to maintain water in sink and a risk of losing small objects down the drain; height adjustment on shower riser rail not working; wall-mounted tail radiator not secure - fixings broken.

Positive: The location was excellent, right on the canal, lovely quiet street. The staff were excellent on reception, breakfast staff were attentive, the breakfast was hot & plentiful, pastries, fresh fruit, scrambled egg, bacon, variety of breads etc. Rooms were clean, bathrooms stocked with emerg toiletries, lovely hot shower, coffee machine as well. Walking distance to Centre, Anne Frank Museum, RLD etc lovely cafe's pretty close. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
