This luxurious, private ocean front house, on one of the few natural beaches left on the Atlantic side of Florida is perfect for a large family or group of friends. From the third-floor balcony, you can enjoy the refreshing sea air, even watch a Cape Canaveral rocket launch. From the pelicans and osprey that fly above, to the enormous sea turtles that nest only feet from the crossover to the beach, you become immersed in the wildlife. A State Park is across the street. This home provides you and your family with relaxation, fun, and adventure with a quiet, Florida beach getaway.
Located one mile north of Sebastian Inlet in Melbourne Beach, the property includes a spacious 4000 sq. ft. elegant and luxurious 5-bedroom oceanfront estate home that has breathtaking views of the ocean from the bedrooms. The house has tile floors throughout. Master bedroom on the top floor has magnificent ocean views and the master bath has river views as well. The bath has a jacuzzi tub, shower and a bidet. The 3rd level has a fully equipped eat in gourmet kitchen, a pantry, living room with a 3D flat screen TV, a Blu-Ray/DVD player along with a large library of movies for your enjoyment, one half bath, a dining room for 8 and breakfast table for 4.
On the 2nd level with access to the beach, has a family room a fully-equipped wet bar, a karaoke machine (21,000 songs!), a flat screen TV as well as an assortment of games and books.
There are 4 beautifully decorated queen bedrooms, 2 of them with direct ocean view east, (2 of them are north and 2 south), one in-suite, one twin bedroom (easily convertible to a king), an office with computer and printer as well as a queen futon. The entire house has central air and heat with ceiling fans in each room. There is cable /internet/phone and WIFI and a full laundry room. The north bathroom has a tub/shower. Additional bedding includes 1 queen size sleeper sofa in the living room on the third floor. Two 1/2 baths both on the first floor (for the beachgoers) and one, on the third floor near the pantry in the kitchen.
The house has open high ceiling airy rooms (enough for a 13 FOOT Christmas Tree), an outdoor shower, tropical landscaping, large driveway with a 2-car garage. Telephones are unlimited calling to anywhere in the US and Canada. There is Wi-Fi with free unlimited Internet access within the property line. There are TVs in each living room (second and third floor) with Bright House network channels and HDTV special pack, Blue Ray DVD. There is an abundant supply of movies, games and plenty of reading material for those relaxing days on the decks. Full supply of kitchen crockery and cutlery has been provided, one set of linen and towels is provided for the duration of the stay. Initial supply of paper towels, paper tissues, toilet paper, shampoo, soap is provided. Beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards, sand tools and buckets, and bikes. Plush Beach towels also provided. All you need is your toothbrush and a few groceries.
Other features include the ground floor/garage with a side by side refrigerator and an upright freezer for beach drinks and an extra place to store extra food. There is even frozen bait and fishing rods for the fishermen in the group (and a bait store across the street if you need fishing advice or live bait).
You are free to enjoy the use of all beach and sports equipment, toys, kayaks, fishing gear, bikes, and other items located in the garage. Plenty of outdoor lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, beach toys galore. The Sebastian Inlet State Park located just south, where there is a huge fishing pier, a snack bar, picnic areas, and a bayside beach for children complete with picnic tables. You can even swim with the manatees! The area beaches with some of the best surfing in the country (Home of Kelly Slater) and spectacular array of wildlife, unspoiled natural habitats, sanctuaries and preserves. At the same time, you will be within an easy reach to everything – surrounded by nice restaurants, one directly across the street that serves a great breakfast! “Where everyone knows your name!”
Just an hour and a half west is Orlando (airport), The Walt Disney Resort, Sea World and all its attractions. And less than an hour south of Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center and the world famous Cocoa Beach Pier and Ron Johns Surf Shop. If you want to go south we are just 3 ½ hours away from South Beach in Miami.
Nearby marinas and sports shops can provide rentals boats, paddleboards and canoes. And a local surf shop can provide a bigger selection of surfboards, stand up paddleboards and lessons if desired. There’s also a great “local” gift shop for souvenirs and clothing.
So… Come on… Relax to the sound of the ocean waves, surf just in front of YOUR HOUSE, watch dolphins, manatees and turtles from the huge upper deck, cook out, observe rocket launches from YOUR beach deck, look at the stars during the night or walk down the steps to the white, sandy beach any time you desire for treasure hunting, sunbathing, fishing, or just walking.
Or do nothing but enjoy the sound and smell of the ocean waves.

My husband and I both grew up in South Florida and visited the Sebastian Inlet area frequently for surfing and enjoyment. In 2007 after staying for a month at the beach, we knew that this was the place that we wanted to be. We live close by, and we love the area for its quaintness and friendliness. We love all the people here and can’t imagine living anywhere that doesn't have a beach and fishing.
We enjoy this home immensely, entertaining and having many family reunions here when we are not renting. We love the giant living room on the top floor and comfortable feel of having everyone around the kitchen. We also love having everyone at the beach enjoying the sunshine and surf. Many times, we have BBQs and get together with local friends that we have in this fabulous place. We hope you come to love our home as much as we do.
