We are excited to add the Allison Townhouse as our newest addition to our list of premier vacation homes. Designed by Robert Lloyd Buckles and built in 1963 for Leroy Allison, this historical home is now available for all to enjoy. This home is perfect for you if:
• You love architecture and furniture design
• You want to experience the 60s while having modern day amenities
• You want to tour Route 66 or the only town named after president Lincoln prior to presidency

Our home is setup to accommodate all your needs during your stay so all that is listed below is at the house for you to use:

Although this is a vintage home, we do have central heating and cooling. We have a smart TV as well so that you can log into your accounts and stream all your favorite entertainment.
You will see a garage in the pictures, but the garage is closed off and not accessible during your stay. There is a driveway to park your vehicle and plenty of free street parking as well.
The home is in downtown Lincoln so please understand that it is not a completely quiet home 24/7. We are off the main strip so not as busy as other places, but you may hear some traffic and there is also a train that runs through Lincoln. The train will sound its horn periodically throughout the day and we want to be transparent that you will most likely experience that. The benefit of being so close to downtown is being within walking distance all that Lincoln has to offer. Some of our favorite places are below:

Summary: The house was AMAZING and the property contact was super kind and easy to get in contact with . We had a snafu that no one could have prevented and the property owner did what needed to be done to keep us comfortable without question. I’d come back and stay again if I had the opportunity.

Summary: This home is perfectly situated in Lincoln! And as fabulous as the pictures are, they don’t do it justice! This unique retro home is a creative treat and was perfect for our little family! We will be renting this again!

Summary: The place was amazing. Lots of room. 2 Exterior lights were out making it a little dark to get in at night. I also replaced a bulb in the tv room plug in lamp with a bulb in the laundry room. There is also a fixture going up the stairs that wasn’t working. With an extended stay it would also be nice if there were a couple of more dish towels for drying dishes.

Summary: My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The historical townhouse was spacious and afforded us space to spread out but also spaces to gather. We loved the period details and appliances. The one drawback was the train noise at various hours, but the noise didn’t ruin our sleep. The access to Idle Hour and Guest House was particularly enjoyable. We would all gladly stay here again!
