Beautiful 5 bedroom 3,500 sq.ft. home located on picturesque Faber Arm of Sproat Lake, one of the cleanest and most stunning lakes in BC.
This home away from home is located directly across from the Mars Waterbombers and just 15 minutes from town. Western facing 100 foot private beach on a 300 foot deep property with a wide, flat driveway and ample grass yard for all those epic family soccer, volleyball and badminton matches.
The private dock anchored by its own pier provides for hours of sunning and swimming in Sproat’s crystal clear waters.
Home has been wonderfully updated and will make all your family photos look exceptional. Main floor kitchen has stainless appliances with propane chef’s stove for hosting, or grill on the large exterior bbq.
The house has been split with an upper and lower unit, both complete with full kitchen and bathrooms --perfect for a couple families looking to vacation together!
We kindly request a smoke-free environment and no loud parties to respect our neighbours on the lake. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets at this time.
Weekly summer bookings are Saturday to Saturday.

Summary: We travelled to Vancouver Island following a family wedding and needing some R & R. Wow…we absolutely picked the right place! Perfect set up for our son and daughter in law and their 3 young kids and us to have our own spaces and yet be together. This is an extraordinarily kid friendly place but where adults can also relax and have fun. We did not need to have a lot of communication with the hosts and yet felt warmly welcomed into this space they have created. The hosts have obviously worked hard at making this home a comfortable and relaxing space for their own family (games, puzzles, toys, hot tub, dock, fire pit area, etc) and now share their home with others. The cleanliness of this home was above any hotel or rental we have ever stayed in - spotless!

Summary: Perfect lakehouse to get away and forget about the rest of the world. An absolutely beautiful property with all the amenities you could possibly need to relax and unwind. Great spot on the lake, perfect dock for swimming and watersports. Hosts are very responsive and were very quick to resolve our one and only issue. Just an awesome place to stay, whether you are planning on spending time in the lake or not. Definitely would love to come back!

Summary: This is one of the best places we rented so far. The description was accurate, the views were fascinating, and the owner is very good and understanding. This property has everything a family needs. The cellular network is spotty but WIFI calling did the trick. Overall, this is one of the luxurious places around Port Alberni.

Summary: The Photos do not do thr property justice. Our weekend was cloudy and spoty rain but the house and the property were amazing with lots to do or enjoy the peace a quite. We would book this again!!

Summary: We had an amazing stay, this is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed at. It’s not very often that a place exceeds your expectations but this place went above and beyond what we all could have possibly hoped for. The dock is epic, the hot tub is fantastic the deck and kitchen are wonderful, the yard is perfect and the beds are all super comfortable. Leah was very nice and helpful, we can’t wait to come back again and again.

Summary: This property has tons of indoor and outdoor space - all well organized and maintained. We enjoyed private setting, a lot of natural light, and gorgeous views. Kayaks and water toys were provided. Tennis courts are nearby. Thank you Leah & family!

Summary: We had a lovely weekend with our friends (3 families with a total of 9). The whole experience from booking, to our stay and the checkout was very smooth and easy. The house is very spacious, bright and had all the amenities one could wish for and more. Really well equipped kitchens (there are 2) and lots of areas to relax and enjoy the view over the lake. We highly recommend for family getaways.
