If you are looking for accommodation in the Salmon arm area, come visit our unique Chalet. It is nestled in a lush forest on a large acreage that is completely private and offers all the amenities needed for your perfect getaway. The Chalet has many unique qualities, like the indoor life size birdhouse wrapped around a tree and the custom built furniture. Enjoy the tranquility of the fireplace and hot tub. We are located 15 minutes from Salmon Arm and 15 minutes from Enderby. We are also minutes from the Larch Hills X-Country ski area which offers four seasons of activities including X-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. Come and partake in all the activities the north Okanagan and Shuswap have to offer while coming back to a quiet and comfortable cabin in the woods. We offer a unique getaway that you are sure to remember for years.
There are three bedrooms, two have queen size beds while the third is a life size birdhouse that has two single beds made for kids. Outside the chalet we have what we refer to as the Pod, it is a sort of European bungalow that has a queen size bed in it. The pod does not come with a bathroom but is located close to the chalet.
There are wonderful horse trails in the area so bring your horse and we will provide the pen and feed for $20/day/horse.

Summary: My hubby and I spent our 25th anniversary here. It was exactly what we were looking for, super private and very quiet. There was no fireban yet so we were able to enjoy a fire every night. The chalet had everything we needed. The host was great, she even brought us a battery right away when the smoke detector started to chirp. There are lots of mosquitoes, but a little bug spray and a nice fire helps to keep them away. All in all I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing quiet vacation away.

Summary: Our stay at chalet two was wonderful. I'm so glad we were able to find this gem. The chalet was cozy, warm, and the location was absolutely stunning. Our host Ericka was very responsive and when asked, gave us suggestions on what to do while we were there (we ended up visiting everywhere on the list). If your planning a trip to or near Salmon Arm, we highly recommend booking your stay at Bluebird Chalet!

Summary: Delightful to arrive. The beauty of the property, the warmth of the chalet interior decor, the south facing full of windows to watch the light play in the forest. A crackling fire in the rainy evening was so very soothing. Silence. A beautiful gift from a city life that is full of traffic, sirens, multi-condo living. Depressing to have to come home. Looking foreard to a longer stay next year.

Summary: Our family of 5 had a fantastic time at Chalet #2. The kids loved the birdhouse, dinners outside watching the chipmunks and birds, having late night hot tubs, and playing in the yard. Watching the stars at night was definitely a highlight. The decor is lovely and Ericka has provided all that is needed for a lovely stay. Hoping to come back soon!

Summary: We loved this place! It was the perfect holiday to relax and getaway from it all. There is no T.V. or internet and very limited cell service, which is a bonus when you want to unplug and spend some quality time as a family. The hot tub and fire pit were the cherries on top. Beautiful property and very friendly owners.
