The expansive covered porch has gorgeous views of the Cabinet Mountains and the Noxon Reservoir. Wood floors throughout. Tiled showers in both bathrooms. Washer and dryer on the first floor. An electric fireplace to cozy up to and a gas grill on the front deck.
The property attaches to thousands of acres of national forest in the back for your exploring and is close to many hiking and horse trails. There is plenty of room to bring a boat, kayaks or a camper. The boat launch is just a mile down the road for the Noxon Reservoir. Many attractions like the Ross creek cedars and the swinging bridge at Kootenai Falls are near by.
Glacier National Park is about 3.5 hours away to the east. Rock lake in the Cabinet Wilderness area is one of our favorite hikes. Schweitzer Mountain ski resort is about an hour drive. Fine shopping and dining can be found below Schweitzer in Sandpoint, ID. The views on the drive there will blow you away as you follow the Clark Fork River to Lake Pend Oreille. Fishing and hunting opportunities abound in this region as it is a sportsman's paradise.

Summary: this was the most incredible beautiful area I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The cabin was in the most pristine beautiful part of Montana with so many things around to do including hiking and swimming. My family and I have fallen in love with Montana Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your cabin. We saw dear every morning, eagles flying over while we were at the reservoir. The weather was fantastic.

Summary: All u have to do is start reading all the reviews and they all pretty much say the same thing i would say. Secluded cabin up in the mountain with beautiful views of the noxon reservoir and mountains. Sitting on the front deck in Adirondack rocking chairs drinking coffee in the morning and dinner at night was perfect. We really enjoyed the stay

Summary: This was a lovely secluded cabin on a beautiful peace of property surrounded by mountains, forest, and an amazing view of the valley with a reservoir. This was exactly what my family and I were after to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time together.

Summary: This Noxon cabin is a GREAT place for those who want to get away and enjoy the beauty of the Montana wilderness. The cabin is exactly as the pictures portray it. Clean, cozy, contemporary with a rustic feel, along with beautiful views and epic isolation. The cabin had all the required necessities with surprisingly fast wireless internet for such a remote location. I can only speak for our summer experience, but the cabin was able to endure the heat of a 4 day heat wave relatively well for a small window A/C unit. We had temperatures with highs of 96 for 4 days in a row, but tactical A/C usage combined with box fan usage provided by the cabin allowed us to not be too miserable at night. The cabin is a great centralized location if you are willing to drive a little bit. We visited Kootenai falls, Ross creek cedars, Lake Pend Oreille, as well as Priest Lake, and Schweitzer mountain in Sandpoint, ID. The Noxon Mercantile cafe is great (check when it’s open) and Ms. Amy was great serving us breakfast in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon. We also managed to find a great swimming spot just down the hill from the cabin in Noxon Resevoir at South Shore campground. This was key on the hot days. Overall, a wonderful experience. We stayed almost two weeks in the cabin to get our isolated Montana experience. Unfortunately, we did not see as much of the wildlife as other people have mentioned. This could be due to the heat or the fact that we had 3 loud children (ages 10, 7, and 5) running around the yard scaring most of the wildlife away. We did see lots of wild turkeys and a mama deer and her 2 babies most evenings, but no elk. I highly recommend this cabin if you want beautiful Montana views in a comfortable cabin with two of the most comfortable rocking/gliding chairs on the front porch. Highly recommend!
