Sandy Chalet is our guest home located on our wooded acre here in beautiful Sandy Oregon. The guest home consumes about one 3rd of the property. The guest house is privately fenced, gated and includes 620sq ft, full kitchen, one bedroom with a comfortable queen bed and closet space plus a couch that makes into a bed to accommodate 4 guests and one bath. Comes with your own private hot tub, deck, laundry facilities, covered patio with BBQ and gas fire pit table. We also offer a free continental breakfast. Free parking on site. Our Chalet is a hub of many attractions. We are 30 miles from Government Camp and all that MT Hood has to offer. 26 miles from Multnomah Falls. Go check out Sandy Brewery or try several breweries within 20 miles such as Great notation Brewery and so many others in the Portland area. We are 1/8th of a mile from Fred Meyer and one mile away from the infamous Joe’s Donuts. There are several restaurants such as Smoky hearth restaurant and bar, Tollgate Inn restaurant and saloon, Sparky’s pizza and more.

Summary: We loved the place, it’s a nice getaway and the hot tub really made it! Good sized kitchen for cooking if you’re doing any. Bathroom was decent sized, l would say the shower was ok, had plenty of hot water but wasn’t fond of the shower head itself as it is not detachable. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of blankets if needed. We also enjoyed the patio with fire pit and heater so while it was raining and chilly we stayed warm and dry. If available next time we visit we would stay there again. The whole place had a charm to it.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving. When we arrived we were greeted with flowers and a wine gift basket. The home was cozy, clean and comfortable. The home is surrounded by trees, it is lovely. The hot tub and fire pit area were a wonderful place to relax. We will be staying again!!

Summary: 5 out of 5 star stay!! The chalet was perfect for our trip. The comfort of the bed as outstanding! The linens and blankets were so soft making for the coziest of beds! The towels were so soft. The host was so thoughtful with our welcome gift and lots of breakfast items! The chalet was decorated so cute for fall and smelled like pumpkin spice when we walked in. The jacuzzi was wonderful! I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was! Dave was great at communicating and very quick with replies! Beautiful grounds with trees all around. Very private with a nice outdoor seating area and a fire pit. Definitely would return!

Summary: The property had everything we needed and expected from a VRBO and then more. It was quiet and clean and offers snacks, water, small breakfast and a bottle of wine. The hot tub was perfect and so was the covered sitting area with fire table and heater. 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again!

Summary: We booked two nights here as a sort of a home base along the way of our 10 day road trip. The location was easy to access and even though it’s located next door to the owners, we had privacy and comfort. The owners were very hospitable and we enjoyed their extra touches as quests.

Summary: David is an incredible host. We were staying the weekend because our wedding was at Eagle Fern Park. David thought of every possible thing we could need this weekend and provided it for us. He even had a bottle of wine and a little cake ready for us to celebrate our special weekend. The hot tub was an absolute perfect way to start and end our days here. Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend so relaxing!

Summary: David's place was amazing! Very private, great location, and quiet. Did not expect the wine and popcorn, but it was a wonderful surprise. The place was very clean and had a lot of extra amenities. We did not use the hot tub, but would have, if we were staying longer. We would definitely stay there again in the future when visiting family in the area. A+ location!

Summary: This tiny home was perfect for my best friend and I, while on a hiking vacation. The details like lots of mirrors, extra travel toiletries, and continental breakfast, as well as a welcome basket were so sweet and thoughtful. We enjoyed the hot tub and patio each day. The bed was super cozy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a couple of able-bodied adults!
