3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom home located one block from the beach, one house off the bay in the laid back, tranquil community of Lonelyville. Open, airy kitchen, dining and living area. Spacious wrap-around deck for entertaining, including lounge chairs, table, chairs, umbrellas, hammock and gas grill. House also features an outdoor shower, washer and dryer, Fios high speed internet, wagon, bikes, beach toys etc..
Five minute bike ride to stores/restaurant. Smoke free house.

Just over one hour by train, car or private van to ferry dock from New York City, or 15 minutes from Islip airport. Decompress on the 25 minute ferry ride to Fire Island. Summary: We had a wonderful week on Fire Island in this home. The owners were communicative and the house had everything we needed. The large living area was great for us to spend time together and the deck furniture and hammock were delightful.

Summary: "Levin Heaven" is a charming beach house that the owners have clearly tended with love over a long period of time. As such it is both more welcoming and far better-equipped than any Fire Island rental property I have previously stayed in over the course of twenty years. It does not have air-conditioning (or as far as I noticed a television), but those are not things that we personally look for at the beach. It does have fans in all rooms. The kitchen is fantastically equipped and the owners welcome you to use the herbs they grow on their deck. The furniture, both inside the house and on the deck, is high-quality and stylish. Everything you could want for the beach is provided, save surfboards (we brought our own). The house is about as far as it is possible to get from the stores and restaurant of Fair Harbor so the bicycles they provide are very useful (otherwise it's a 15-20 minute walk), but the quiet and seclusion of the location more than make up for this. The Shack in Atlantique is a five-minute walk away. Overall we had an excellent experience.
