This guest cottage is located on the breezy and cooler North side of St Thomas. The cottage overlooks views of Hull and Magens Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The cottage is a cozy private dwelling with its own driveway/parking area. This secluded free standing getaway shares property with the owners home, but is nestled within the Caribbean foliage. Fruit trees and sounds of the Caribbean jungle are plentiful.
The cottage is a quaint romantic getaway for a couple or small family. Your separate driveway/parking area veers off from the owners driveway providing two parking spaces. A few steps bring you to a small porch/dining area with fantastic views.
The cozy open concept living/dining area is complete with high ceilings and fans. The fully equip kitchen features full size appliances, pots, dishes, utensils, Keurig, coffee pot, toaster, and more. The living area features a pull out queen size sleeper sofa, along with free wifi access, and large flat screen TV.
The Master Bedroom is air conditioned (although rarely needed in this breezy abode) with a queen size bed and full closet. Bathroom features standup shower, hair dryer and towels to suit your needs.
The owners are located just a bit further up the driveway in a separate house, ensuring complete privacy during your stay. We have lived in St Thomas for several years and are available as much or as little as you like. We are happy to help with any questions you may have, and equally as happy to respect your privacy. We have 3 mellow teenage children and 2 loving and friendly dogs, Cora & Mali.
The cottage is located near the highest point in St Thomas, which affords fabulous views. There is a convenient store/gas station just at the end of the street. The Shack at Hull Bay, The Fish Bar (dining) and Hull Bay beach is a convenient 7 minutes away. The cottage is also conveniently located to many other Northside Beaches including Nelteburg, Dorothea, & Magens. As well as Southside beaches such as Brewers & Lindburg.
Our secluded location is off of the Island Safari route, making it necessary to rent a car. We suggest making reservations ahead of time to reserve your vehicle.

Summary: I believe everyone stated already in their reviews about the dogs. Even after the reviews, I was still surprised how often and how many dogs were barking in the day and evening. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

Summary: The house was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen items if you wanted to cook inside instead of going out. Also had some items for the beach as well. This was my first time to the island and I didn’t know what to expect but I was glad to see that the cottage was up above in the mountain roads and not downtown.

Summary: We love this cottage!! It is the cleanest, most comfortable house in this price range we have ever stayed in, in all of the USVI. Nate and Deirdre are great hosts, they have thought of everything you need in this well-appointed and well decorated place. This was our second visit, we will be back!!!

Summary: Difficult to locate property after dark; Very muddy at front entrance; Need a broom and refills for swifter mop - as the floors were unclean; Hosts were difficult to reach upon our arrival - and VRBO customer service was horrible!

Summary: The cottage is perfect for two people. Good location near a good grocery store and two wonderful beaches. (We prefer Hull Bay beach because it isn’t tourista like Megan’s.) The owners were easy to work with and nice. The unit was very clean. Highly recommend.

Summary: We couldn't have had a more amazing stay at this beautiful little bungalow. The hosts provided everything we needed for many amazing adventures! We loved our privacy and being away from the crowded resort/cruise ship scene. The location was also perfect, being close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shopping. We can't wait to return!

Summary: The stay was great. A little out of the way but nice and quiet area. Only thing missing from the cottage is an ironing board and a long mirror 😊. Other than that my stay was great.
