Summary: Everything was amazing. If anyone is looking for solitude, this place is it. I didn’t see another person for 48 hours. The cabin is located on a nice run of Craig Creek. There’s fast water, slow water, deep runs, shallow runs all within sight of the house. Thank you Kimberly for taking good care of the place. It’s perfect for me.

Summary: Kimberly was wonderfully responsive and generous. Making sure we had plenty of fire wood for creekside fires ( although the weather didn’t cooperate for us ), and that the grill had plenty of gas. It’s off the beaten path which is exactly what we wanted. And it had lots of pleasant walking trails. We couldn’t figure out the tv dish system. But that may have just been us old farts !

Summary: A few days getaway with our three grandchildren. We were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the land and the cozy spotless cottage. Very well stocked and maintained. There was easy entrance to the creek and just beautiful. Could not have asked for a better place to swim, tube, swim, fish, kayak and relax!! We hope and plan to return!! Amazing few days and thank you to the host in making reservations so easy and accommodating. B Dooley

Summary: I’ve stayed in a few VRBOs within the Appalachian Mountains over the past year. Craig Creek is by far my fave. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable. Solitude was my desire. Solitude was provided. I didn’t see another human being for two days. Only the sound of the creek had my attention. The sunset was phenomenal as it dipped behind the mountain range beyond the fields. Craigs Creek is abundant with fish and is and is easily wadable. Within sight of the house you will have slow water, fast water, deep holes, and flats of pebbles. This place has everything. Thank you so much.

Summary: Cute, quiet cabin right in between Craig's Creek and a barley field. It was beautiful and relaxing. I loved the sound of the flowing water in the creek.

Summary: We really enjoyed this remote setting and was only about 35 minutes from Roanoke. If we ever go back to the Roanoke area, we'd want to stay here again.

Summary: We chose this location as a middle spot to meet up with family. We were looking for a nice relaxing spot, and this was exactly it! We had such a great time relaxing by the creek and having a bonfire. There are lots of great hiking opportunities nearby too! We only did hanging rock overlook because of having an infant with us, but we saw lots of other options as we drove around.
