THIS IS A VERY PRIVATE and quiet with only one other house on the street with plenty of parking. We are also 5 minutes away from Stoney Creek GOLF and TENNIS court and 1 minute from Rt 151 Many BIKING and HIKING trails in Stoney Creek. The BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY is 15 minutes away. Coming for a FALL HIKE ? Bring the family and a pet. After a long day hiking , sip your favorite beverage from many of the wineries, breweries, and cider houses and relax by the fire-pit starting October 1.
This apartment has full sun most of the day. There is a deck and large yard to play Corn hole, Volleyball, and Badminton. A stream runs through the property where the kids can wade in the stream. Grill on the deck that overlooks a beautiful large backyard with a stream running through it.
Did I mention location? Starting May 1st through October 31, the Farmers Market is within walking distance. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Located right off Rt 151 and close to so many wineries, breweries, and cider houses. Yet so PRIVATE WITH WOODS AND large yard . Why not come back from a day of visiting the brewery or winery and relax in the yard with your favorite beverage and watch the kids play in the yard or play in the stream.
This facility has windows across the front and faces south with sunlight and views of a beautiful backyard with outdoor games with a stream( see above) This facility has a separate entrance and parking is allowed in driveway. Two Bedrooms, one King and one Queen with a pull out sofa bed for two. All windows have black out shades for late sleepers. This lovely space is newly furnished by the owner who is a licensed interior designer. There is a complete kitchen and dining room with a deck for grilling. A large walk -in shower. Perfect for a family of 6 or 2 couples.

In the Winter months, ski at the Wintergreen Resort on the mountain and catch the breathtaking views and the Ski Slopes in the other months.Why not take a hike on the Mountain where it is 10 degrees cooler in the summer! When you return, to your cozy place and enjoy a wine, beer or cider from many of the local established vendors. Sit by the stream and chill or warm up in evenings with the the gas fireplace inside or the fire pit outside in the cooler months! After a long day skiing come warm yourself by the fire with a glass of your favorite wine, beer, or cider from many of the local 151 businesses. We are only 2 minutes to 151 yet we are private.

Summary: The host was very friendly and helpful. She met us at arrival and gave us the layout of the apartment. The apartment was clean and as described. This was a great location for my family and our puppy for our ski trip at Wintergreen. this was a nice neighborhood. Area felt very safe and lots of room for our puppy to frolic around. it was well furnished and had everything we needed. Our family would stay here again.

Summary: We rented the downstairs unit. It was very spacious! It looked brand new and has all of the luxuries of home. Marta has outdone herself. It was very private located on a wooded lot and close to everything. We only had to drive 20 minutes up to the slopes and 5 minutes to wineries. We could not have asked for a better place. We would definitely rent her again.

Summary: We stayed here during our kids' spring break for a wonderful fall getaway. The location is great for hiking and close to local breweries and restaurants. The weather was not on our side, but we still found ways to work around the rain with a trip to the local cavern and an underground hike nearby. The caretakers took great care of us and were very responsive. The apartment was perfect! Plenty of room for all of us. Thank you so much!

Summary: Great location and a wonderfully stocked home. Had more than you will ever need for a family of four. Beautiful backyard with a nice fire pit for those cool nights and access to family outdoor games Located right in the middle of Nelson county route 101 and easy access to Bold Rock cideries and Devil’s Backbone brewery- less than 5 minutes away. Plus, close to all the local hikes and winter skiing. Check in and communication with the host was so easy!

Summary: Our family enjoyed our mid-January stay in this walkout basement apartment. The common area is very spacious and beautifully decorated, and the two bedrooms were comfortable. There's a nice seating area with a gas fireplace, which made for a cozy feel in winter, especially after returning from hiking and skiing nearby. The bathroom is beautiful. The kitchen is small but serviceable and was pretty much par for the course in vacation homes. The apartment faces the woods and a small stream with a golf course and Highway 151 just beyond. Although we could see cars through the bare forest, we didn't hear any traffic noise. We would definitely stay in this apartment again. Marta was a great host and a good communicator, checking in before our arrival and greeting us upon our arrival to give us a quick -- masked and socially distanced -- tour of the apartment. Though she lives upstairs, we had plenty of privacy, and didn't see each other again until the morning we checked out. From the parking area on the driveway, you need to walk down a small hill with steps and a gravel path, then up a few wooden steps to a small deck and the apartment entrance. It has the potential to be s little tricky in snow or ice, but Marta provided salt in case we needed it.

Summary: This property was amazing. Sat on a beautfiful golf course in a neighborhood surrounded by large homes. The space was exactly what we needed for a quick ski weekend on the slopes. The house had all the conveniences we needed and then some. Great covered deck to remove wet snow gear or just to sit and watch the many deer poke around the yard. The kids were excited to play around and explore in the creek running through the backyard as the adults warmed up by the firepit. Marta went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and she was so accomodating when we thought we might get snowed in. Already starting to plan another adult-only weekend getaway to this property. A must stay!!

Summary: The place was great, very spacious with nice location with firepit and small creek just out the door. The owner, Marta, was great communicating with us. Although she lives upstairs we didn't even know she was there.
