This newly renovated, private 1-bedroom garden apartment is located on a quiet residential block in Andersonville's Lakewood Balmoral neighborhood. There's guaranteed free street parking right out front. The private apartment is situated in the lower level of a single family house and has one bedroom with a queen bed, a living room with a new queen sized Room & Board queen sleeper-sofa, a kitchen, bathroom and in-unit washer/dryer. Central AC & heat.
This garden level apartment is part of a larger house. Guests will have private access to the entire lower level via keyless entry and a separate outdoor stairwell on the side of the house. There is a separate emergency exit out the back door of the lower level. There is a permanently locked door to the upper levels that will not be serviceable on for the guest or the host.
Located a 10 min walk to the heart of Andersonville/Clark Street and a 15 min walk to the lake. Public transport (L train or bus) to downtown are a few blocks away!

Summary: This was a wonderful stay in Andersonville with so many wonderful personal touches. We were close to the red line to get into Chicago downtown and also enjoyed the downtown of Andersonville very much. The hosts had great personal recs and we felt right at home! 10/10

Summary: Lovely, clean, comfortable, private space to hang my hat & use as a home base while visiting friends, family, and ex-colleagues in and around my old neighborhood! Easy access to the Lakeshore path once again, easy parking, quiet neighborhood, charming! I would definitely stay here again if and when I need to come back to Chi-town!

Summary: My husband and I stayed for two nights while we were in the area to visit our son. We had no problems whatsoever, and there was always a parking spot right in front of the home. It’s a great location, a quiet and safe neighborhood, and a comfortable place to come back to after a busy day. We would definitely stay again if our son stays in the area!

Summary: Wonderful host at an incredible unit. Less than 10 minute walk to the Red line and 3 stops to Wrigley Field. Newly remodeled garden apartment with all the necessary amenities to make the stay so enjoyable. Free on-street parking in front of the unit. We will definitely return.

Summary: Megan's property is amazing. It was a great weekend get away. We came for Market Days and her place was well located for events, sightseeing, food and various transit options. The beach is just 20 min walk, too. The unit is spacious, clean, bright and well equipped. Megan is a great host - friendly, responsive and thoughtful. I'd love to come back.

Summary: My husband and I had an absolutely amazing time staying here as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The place was so cute and clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen so we could make breakfast! The host was also so friendly, kind, and was very fast at responding anytime we needed anything! I 100% recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a cozy home away from home as you visit Chicago! We will absolutely stay here again in the future!
