The recently renovated guest suite is located on the first floor of my three floor town house. In the suite you will find a full bathroom, sleeping area, kitchenette area, and living room area. There is a private entrance (separate from main living area) with a customized pin to enter.
Bathroom:
Full sized bathroom with a stand up shower sink and toilet with a heated floor. This space includes complimentary travel sized shampoo and conditioners, hand soap, bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths.
Sleeping Area:
The bedroom has a full sized mattress on a platform style bed frame. A fan is located above the bed as well as a lamp on the night stand.
Kitchenette:
This area includes all basic cooking tools with the exception of a full stove and/or oven. Cooking pans, utensils, and a hot plate are available to cook small meals. Also included: microwave, mini fridge, single cup coffee maker with k-cups, dishes, bowls, mugs, cups, cutting board. A small eating table with two chairs are located off to the side of the countertop.
Living Room Area:
A couch and coffee table with a 65” smart TV mounted to the wall is located in the rear of the suite. Streaming service apps are loaded onto the smart TV ready for you to login to. If needed, there is a pull out couch available. (Please inform me when reserving so that I may put sheets on and provide an extra comforter)
OCCASIONAL NOISE WARNING! Please read below
The heat/AC compressor is located right outside of the unit and has a humming sound from the fan, and is a bit loud when the compressor kicks on and off.
I have two cats in the living space above the guest suite. They have never entered into the suite, however, they do run back and forth sometimes which can be heard through the floor. (Please let me know if it is ever bothersome). Guests with extreme cat allergies may have a reaction from the shared air circulation.
This is a townhome with residents on both side so normal noises may also occur such as dogs barking/people talking outside.
Small quiet animals are welcome for an extra $60 cleaning fee per week. A $150 security deposit is also required when booking to cover any potential damages for things like scratching, chewing, and urine. Please inform me prior to booking so that I may request funds.
On premise parking is available for one vehicle. On street parking is also available on a first come-first serve basis.
Please keep guest count to what was requested when booking.
Smoking is allowed outside only. Smoking indoors will incur a $150 cleaning fee.
The entire suite is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to 5 the CDC’s recommendations for neutralizing covid (sorry for the cleaning fee!) Hand sanitizer, wipes, and disinfectant will be available as soon as you enter to re-clean anything for your piece of mind.

Summary: My husband and I came for a quick trip for Thanksgiving to check on my mom. We needed a good safe place that accepted dogs. We got an excellent place. Clean with everything we needed. The host was extremely kind and courteous. Even when I had issues with the booking system. He worked with me and tried to help problem shoot. We loved the proximity to restaurants. And we LOVED the heated floors in the bathroom. A great place to stay. We will do it again.

Summary: Very clean, nicely appointed. The shower is great and wonderful towels. It was cozy, very quiet. Joe was a great host and very responsive to any questions or if we needed anything.

Summary: We had an excellent experience at this location. Joe was very prompt and helpful in communications and easy to deal with. The room did not look like a basement turned into a room-to-rent but rather like a hotel room. He had thought of so many ways to plan for our needs throughout. Every thing was clean and well organized. I was able to cook several meals using the hotplate and microwave and had plenty of dishes and utensils for doing so.. I loved the heated bathroom floor , the temperature of the room was fine except for one cold day, and then a brief use of the room heater brought it up to a comfortable level. Joe checked in with us several times to see if we needed anything and come downstairs to help us move. out. The bed was comfortable and we had no problem casting our TV shows to his large television. He is a very hospitable person and we enjoyed our interactions with him very much. In short, I would recommend Joe and his facility in the highest terms! Mary and John McKey
