Positive: The house is located right next to the fjord, very spacious and tastefully decorated with full equipment. A big advantage is the outdoor jacuzzi. Check-in and check-out are completely hassle-free.

Positive: We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday stay at this charming sea side home built in 1939. The house is quaint and cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was convenient (8 minute drive) for exploring Trondheimโ€™s city center/Christmas market and nearby hikes. The host was communicative and kind. We also enjoyed the fire place, jacuzzi & easy to use streaming services. They provided plenty of wood, blankets, towels, toilet paper/paper towels/napkins, coffee/tea/hot cocoa, sugar, olive oil salt & pepper. If you're looking for a homey place to unwind, this is a great choice.
Negative: Nothing significant. I would caution anyone with mobility issues given the steep walk to the property and winding staircase within. We were a family of 3 (2 adults/teenager) so having a single bathroom was not an issue. The bedroom at the top of the stairs (accommodates 2) does not have a door and so probably best for children given no privacy however the 2 additional bedrooms did have a door and face the sea allowing us to hear the waves which lulled us to sleep AND IF the Northern Lights were out I suspect would allow you to view from the room.

Positive: Our stay was excellent. We came to Trondheim to see the Northern Lights. I booked this place because of the remote location to avoid light pollution and because of the northern orientation. Also I liked the photos of the house very much. In real life the place is nicer than the photos, the hosts are very friendly, responsive and attentive. And the place is generously stocked. For example, at arrival the house was at a comfortable temperature mid winter and there are plenty of towels and toilet paper. Overall this gives a luxurious worry-free feeling. The house sits next to the sea and waves make a very calm splashy sound which is super relaxing. The view is amazing. It's ease to reach by car. For the northern light hunters: there's more light sprinkled around the coast then I expected but exactly north facing there are non. There was an index of 3 and the sky was covered with clouds. Still we managed to see some dancing green waves on the far horizon. At some point the clouds went. Revealing a lot of stars.

Negative: But by the time you arrived the hotel you have to go down a very sipping muddy road down the hill with heavy luggage you'll find it very difficult to handle.The bed space in between the height around one meter someing high you can not even sit up right.you have the feeling that the ceiling fall down on you others wise thing are Ok.

Positive: We stayed in the bungalow. All amenities are available. We're happy that even with a contactless accommodation, the hosts were easily reachable and were very kind in answering all inquiries. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi when it was really cold outside. The view and ambience is amazing!

Positive: It was very cute , but a bit deceiving ! It has two properties listed , I scrolled the first 10 pics , which was the house โ€ฆ and it looked fine โ€ฆ when we got there , a bit surprised a parking situation , worse was the steep hill downโ€ฆ it had rained all day , so very muddy โ€ฆ getting the suitcase down was not good โ€ฆ More of a surprise is that we didnโ€™t have the apartment in house, but tiny bungalowโ€ฆ it was cute , but having to climb up a ladder to a mattress was no fun โ€ฆ very uncomfortable, and really got no sleep โ€ฆ it was a beautiful view , appriciated the coffee and chocolate โ€ฆ would not have stayed here if the listing were seperate from the house !
Negative: Getting our suitcase up the hill was a nightmare โ€ฆ I have a lung condition and my friend has a heart condition! I appriciate I saw the text after being g on the road that someone would help โ€ฆ obviously that was a bit to late
