Summary: The log home was a great VRBO find and the owner was very easy and helpful to work with. The home was very clean and the views were amazing overlooking the lake. The fishing was pretty decent as well once you know where to fish. Mostly bass and bluegill lake with a few perch. We saw lots of wildlife and even heard the wolves howling and saw moose tracks on some of the two-tracks. There was plenty of dishware, the beds were comfy and roomy, the outdoor furniture was comfy as well. The check in and check out was super easy. I promise you wont be disappointed with this home if you like the outdoors and like to panfish.

Summary: The property was secluded and peaceful. Fishing was great from right off the dock. The house was very clean and extremely well stocked. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We had a great stay at Sundog Lake. The weather was less than perfect, so it was great to have plenty of indoor space to hang out. We watched a bunch of movies, played a ton of cards, enjoyed the board games, and read a lot. The lake was super quiet, I’m guessing due to the weather. We never saw another boat or kayak out all week! Perfect for our own little kayak trips between raindrops. We also took shot day trips to Munising and Marquette. The cabin had all we needed to be more than comfortable and we appreciated the personal touches.

Summary: What a wonderful place to get away to. It has all the comforts and amenities of home with a beautiful view every morning and night. Lots of wildlife - deer, bald eagles, loons, sandhills, porcupine and many species of birds. And, fishing was GREAT! Thank you, Kristin

Summary: This place exceeded our expectations. We were unsure how private it really was, as the pictures didn't show the sides of the house from the outside to see what was was nearby. It was at the end of the road and any neighbors were blocked by pine trees. The view from the deck and inside was magnificent, especially with the fall colors in full force. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything necessary. The place had everything we needed and the property manager was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. We would certainly rent this place again. Loved it.

Summary: This was our second year staying at this location and it was just as great as the first. With the exception of personal items and food, almost anything else you may need is provided. The weather was perfect and the lake peaceful all day. Unlike our first visit, we spent most of our time at the home and it was so relaxing sitting on the deck, sitting by the fire or fishing off the dock. The week went way too fast. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Summary: We had an amazing time at Sundog Lake! The property was clean and open, and the views of the lake were beautiful. It was very quiet and the view of the stars at night were amazing. We hoped to see the aurora on our last night, but it was a bit overcast so we missed it. Hosts are incredibly responsive and provide excellent instructions. We hope to visit again!

Summary: A beautiful home on a quiet lake. The home was very well supplied with just about anything you will need to enjoy your stay. We spent several days, grilling out, sitting around the fire pit, relaxing on the deck and catching bass off the shore. The wild life was incredible, seeing the eagles, loons and even a heron on a couple of occasions. This was topped off with a fawn and doe wandering into the backyard and eating grass a few feet from us off the deck. The whole week was absolutely perfect and it was hard to go home. Thank you for opening your home to us.
